I liked the location, the breakfast was decent and the room was nicely decorated. Some of the staff were nice (especially the night staff) but some were rude when asking for assistance.

Been traveling to Peoria for 5 plus years as my son was touring Bradley University followed by earning his undergrad at Bradley. It is a nice sized city with a lot of amentities. There are some excellent restaurants and beautiful murals downtown. I loved all the different shopping centers too. Everything is close.

Bigger than I thought. Most everything is located on or near main street, bar, restaurants. Not too much in outlying areas.Great civic center for concerts.Disapponted in hotel prices seem excessively high in town. That alone would keep me from coming back to visit and spend more time there.People there friendly, spoke to a few for info but a lot of new Flux of individuals who were not familiar with Peoria so not very helpful on directions and restaurants and bars to check out during my stay of those that I ask for inquiry.Ate at a Mexican restaurant food was good.Getting around Peoria was ok using map quest.Would avoid downtown hotels, their prices were obscene.

The room was filthy and the guest services were very rude. I took pictures, they wanted to charge us more for another room. We called the police because they refused to refund us our monies after we saw the room and chose not to stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place or booking.com

We visited a museum downtown, went to the IVY Club for dinner and drove around exploring. We lived in the area for 5 years back in the mid 80s and wanted to see the changes that had taken place. We didn’t have a lot of time to do much else. Maybe we will return for another visit.

Greeting was sincere and engaging.
Greeting was sincere and engaging. Check out conversation was broached by staff member and questions were pointed to assist in their efforts to better serve. The room was comfortable, at the right value. The breakfast was well presented and kept up throughout the service.
I read a lot of mixed reviews, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Parking, was extra but the hotel offered $10/night (reg $20) but could park on street for free until 8am. It was limited spots, but during the week I didn’t have any issues. My only complaint with bed, was it seems to slope down (as if older and worn from someone always laying on edge). Staff was EXCELLENT and always friendly!! Rooms were clean. Didn’t try restaurant because it was a very limited menu.
When I Book the room it said there was a microwave and a refrigerator. That's why I paid extra for the suit . There was no microwave and no refrigerator and I only get to spend one weekend out of a month with my granddaughter and it needs to be clean and have basic Necessities. This ROOM WAS NOT. I brought home cooked food. I was not happy. I will NOT return.
Breakfast was very good and hot. The king two room suite was spacious and very comfortable. Room was clean and well-lit, everything worked like new, plenty of counter space in the bathroom, and plenty of storage space. Located in East Peoria about 3 miles or so from old downtown with nice restaurants and bars.
The staff, the new regional manager. She was great! Gave me an upgraded room; however, the suite had a stench my daughter and I could not fathom, and the double bed room, cleanliness was again an issue. We made it through the night and appreciated the upgrade. I couldn’t complain for their efforts.
Super kind and charismatic staff made the experience even better. Hotel parking was convenient, close, and free. Hotel location is downtown and walking distance from the concert we attended. AND it was a great value.
Would 10/10 recommend the Mark Twain Hotel to anyone visiting Peoria.
Ashley was very helpful with some issues that arose during our stay. The location is very convenient to the Civic Center. The rooms are comfortably sized, bed was very comfortable. Loved having adequate supply of towels in the room, didn't have to ask for more during our 3 day stay.
Easy to get on and off 74. Close to restaurants in East Peoria. The bed was firm - like I like it. Staff was friendly. Basic continental breakfast that has become standard in most hotels. Stayed twice this summer.
I like the hotel, the staff, the parking, & Wi-Fi. The room was comfortable & met our needs. My daughter & I was in town for a funeral & although the room size was smaller than expected it still met the need.
Hotel and room were very clean and I was relieved and surprised that there was no road noise since the hotel is situated between some major highways and roads. Covenant access to other services in the area.
Kids loved the pool and basketball court. Breakfast was great and the full kitchen in our room was awesome. All the hotel staff was very friendly. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
