Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is a bustling city known for its cozy sidewalk cafes where you can chill out. The lake with a temple in the middle is a special spot believed to have positive vibes. People say prayers here, and sometimes they get answered fast—I know mine did!
In Hanoi, there's a lot to enjoy, like exploring cool cafes, checking out the lively night market, taking leisurely walks by the lake, and relaxing at outdoor beer joints. Plus, if you're a veggie, there are quite a few food options for you (eggs are considered vegetarian here).
Coffee lovers, get ready to taste different kinds of coffee, and tea lovers, you'll find some amazing tea here too.
Shopping isn't the big draw here, and places like Train Street can be too crowded. Taxis are cheap and convenient, but walking around the colorful markets is a fun way to soak in the local scene.
If you're into activities, you can go boating, hiking, or cruising around. But if you just want to chill, soak up the local vibes, and experience the culture, Hanoi is perfect for that too.
Sitting around the lakes, parks, outside shops, and colorful, peaceful markets sounds like a great way to soak in the city's atmosphere. And enjoying coffee and food while doing so. Even better! Don't forget to add sitting on rooftops and in temples to your list—it's a fantastic way to experience Hanoi's unique ambiance. Walking around the city and taking it all in sounds like the perfect way to spend your time there.

Hanoi is a vibrant blend of old and new, where bustling streets lead to tranquil lakes and ancient temples. Whether you're slurping down delicious street food or exploring historical landmarks like Hoan Kiem Lake and the Temple of Literature, there's always something exciting to discover. The city's charm lies in its lively atmosphere, rich culture, and warm hospitality. Hanoi is more than just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience that leaves you craving more.

The ancient old city with old historical building and unique culture people in the old city. ( Sword lake, big lake … help you escape the crowded building ). I enjoy to eat at restaurants in old city with traditional food. It’s easy to get around Hanoi by Grab system. I have enough with Hanoi and more careful dealing with Hanoi people.

Hanoi is my favourite city in Asia.
Hanoi is my favourite city in Asia. It is so authentic with locals living their real life right around you. It’s busy with the scooters but so much to see and wonderful shopping. The Vietnamese people are so friendly and adorable and I love the Vietnam woman riding their bikes with their rice hats. The food is out of this world.

Breakfast was very good. Specially the Vietnam soup which included for breakfast was very tasty. All the staff members very efficient .They are helping to visitors in all the ways. They offered us a free room upgrade for 04 days period. It was very good and the city view was excellent. I am recommending this hotel those who are visiting the Hanoi Old Quarters. It is very near to Night market and Hoin Kem lake. If we go again to Hanoi this hotel will be my first choice. Thank you for all staff members. Special thank for front office MANAGER.
This hotel was in an amazing location right in the middle of the Old Quarter in Hanoi! It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go!
The staff here were also super, super friendly and helpful!
The complimentary breakfast here was really delicious – a nice mix of Vietnamese and Western breakfast options!
We also booked a massage through the hotel which was fairly priced and really good.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay again!
We loved how central the hotel was to the Old Quarter. Lots going on with the local market stalls, as well as awesome local restaurants and shopping. A stand out for us was how friendly and helpful the staff were - particularly Ruby & Anthony. They provided us with a great list of activitities restaurants not only for Hanoi, but also for our future travels within Vietnam. We adored staying here, and can’t wait to visit when we’re back in Vietnam. Thank you all!
We used the hotel as our base in Hanoi to travel around north Vietnam. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter with very clean rooms and a great breakfast but what made our stay so special was Ms Kim. Ms Kim is so friendly and she helped organise our trips for us to Nimh Binh and Halong Bay and bother we’re just perfect. We would highly recommend using this hotel for your visit to Hanoi and having Ms Kim help you plan your trip. She is the best!
The location was brilliant (very close to the Old Quarter gate), the rooms were clean, nicely furnished and the beds were very comfy.
The best thing about our stay however, was Tien, the owner. He goes above and beyond for his guests, and is just a bundle of warmth and joy. He helped us book our bus for the following day and even upgraded our room for the night!
I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
The location is the best aspect of this hotel, and for that price, is just excellent. Right in the heart of the old quarter, just a block away from the lake and some of the best food spots in Hanoi. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, wanting to go above and beyond for us to have a great experience. They are as lovely as they come. The room is comfortable enough for a sleep and take a shower, so the price was fine.
Friendly staff and welcome, very helpful when needing to sort out cab. Bed most comfortable and best shower of all the hotels we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. Easy, short walk to main part of Old Quarter. Breakfast amazing (had 4 plates worth!). Compared to other hotels in Hanoi we stayed in during our trip, this one was true to its pictures and was in good condition. Would stay in again if we returned to Vietnam.
This smoke-free environment provides guests with all the comforts of home, including comfortable beds, a variety of amenities, and friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions, such as Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, so you can easily explore the city. Plus, their on-site restaurant serves up delicious Vietnamese cuisine, so you can enjoy a truly authentic Hanoi experience.
This hotel couldn't be better it's in a perfect location in the old quarter and the rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean.I have stayed in hotels all over the world but the staff here are by far the nicest and most attentive. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The tours they arranged for us were also top class! 5 star service in the Luxury Old Quarter Hotel we will be back as soon as we can!
Very nice boutique feel to the hotel. Has obviously been renovated and kept in a style that matches Old Hanoi. Staff was incredible as they went out of their way to great us, take care of us, and help us navigate to the best places in Hanoi. Room is not huge, but more than adequate. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Great location for walking to the Old Quarter and French Quarter. Loved our stay!
We stayed on two separate occasions at Hanoi Amorita in our recent trip to Vietnam. The staff were all outstanding and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were comfortable, especially when we had a room with a balcony, beautiful! They helped us organise airport transfers and excursions and the hotel was in an amazing location in the old quarter.
it's in the heart of the old quarter, everything is walkable! the hotel staff was amazing and very personable!! i literally been to 5 cities in Vietnam and this staff here is the most amazing people i've ever encountered! Ms. Lee and her team did a great job recommending places in Hanoi to visit and they are such sweet people!! will stay here again!
It’s a new hotel, the staff is putting a lot of effort on making the experience as nice as possible which we appreciated immensely. The location is perfect, in a beautiful street right in between the old quarter and French quarter. While there are some things to improve finalise, I would recommend it if you are spending a couple of days in Hanoi.
Out of all the hotels we stayed in Hanoi, this was the cleanest with no ants. It had the best natural lighting coming through the windows and two full length mirrors. Room was very clean, and nice toiletries. Appreciate there was a bathtub for baths. A bit out of the way edge of old quarter but minutes away from Train Street.
Hanoi Victor Gallery Hotel & spa is one of top luxury hotel in center of old quarter with Professional staffs, beautiful decoration room, Excellent travel agency service, good airport transportation service. We'll comeback with my family.
Thanks to all staffs of Victor Hospitality Group.
The rooms and beds are excellent and well-cleaned daily. It is a luxury hotel and its location is in the Old Town central , so you can have access to the stores and restaurants. Moreover, it is located in Old quarter which is the center of Hanoi for any venue you would like to visit.
Wonderful customer service from all staff we had communication with, the excellent breakfast choice and excellent location made this trip wonderful. I will certainly recommend this as a number one choice 5 star hotel to stay at in hanoi old quarter.
Ideal location in the middle of Hanoi old quarter. The staff were the most attentive helpful staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. 5 stars to every single one. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. The rooftop bar is also great.
