Reception staff extremley helpful and polite. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choice and kitchen staff very helpful and quick to serve. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Parking permits sold for the parking on the road outside the hotel, this is extremley helpful because we don't know the area. Our first visit to Eastbourne.

We upgraded to king suites and the rooms were stunning. Particularly Rm 218.
The sumptuous corner bath with built in Tv was delightful.
The rooms are the epitome of Victorian elegance, from the carefully curated linen and luxuriant curtains, to the chandeliers within the stunning Roses.

We've been to Eastbourne many times but not for a while. The Hotel we used to stay at was The View but the only rooms left were too expensive. It is a lovely hotel though. We would probably go there next time. As we are both 83, I don't think young couples apply.

My reason for visit was a gig at the Congress Theatre. My first night was in Eastbourne, and second night in Willingdon.
I enjoyed a walk along the Cuckmere river to the coast, a pleasant one mile each way.
Favourite restaurant was lunch at La Locanda Del Duca. Great menu selection, good quality food and friendly staff/atmosphere.

It's a town which always seems so clean, and well maintained. An excellent choice of shops, and the newly extended Beacon is a real asset.
The seafront offers wide walking areas, with coffee shops and restaurants, but not over commercialised.
Choice of good quality hotels to suit most needs throughout the year.
Thoroughly recommend the town.

I first came here 26 years ago.
I first came here 26 years ago. It seemed more genteel, a bit like Lewes and Tunbridge Wells still is. There are lots of churches and I recommend Suncoast Church and Our Lady of Ransom. Generally people do not seem as friendly as once was. I also found too many drivers drive like lunatics. The Sea Town area looked seedy with bins overflowing onto pavements. I liked the buskers in the town centre but sadly there are too many homeless and dodgy looking characters and dodgy persons with cameras taking pictures of unsuspecting people - why? The shopping centre is very, very good. The town has very many restaurants and bars and out of town stores. There are three theatres, cinema, and a fabulous sea front Band Stand to see tribute acts and we listen and look from outside for a while to avoid paying. Very good fishing from the beach and the pier. It is a fabulous very long prom stretching over a mile and a 'dotto' train travelling from end to end. The prom is spoiled by no longer being able to walk around the seafront of the Band Stand and also the destruction of the Claremont Hotel in 2020 leaving a bleak aspect in front of the pier. My wife and I have been to Eastbourne about a dozen times and so it must have something - and it does.

Friendly welcome, excellent location for the seafront and town centre. Great value for money. Parking voucher amazing value. Tea, coffee, kettle in the room great. Furniture, decoration dated but who cares when you get a good night’s sleep for a very reasonable rate. (Except for the guy next door who snored loudly in the early hours). We will stay again if we need a hotel in Eastbourne
A beautifully decorated and well kept hotel that is very reasonably priced. The owner was quite simply a top man and I would not hesitate to stay here again. I travel to Sussex regularly for work and out of the hotels in Eastbourne that I have stayed in, the East Beach Hotel is by far the best. Credit to them for doing such a great job 👏🏼😁
Lovely, comfortable small hotel located in the theatre district. The location is great as the seafront is a couple of minutes walk and the town centre is about ten minutes. My room was nicely decorated and the coffee machine was a nice added bonus.
we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Lovely Victorian grandeur, perfectly suited to Eastbourne. Just a stone’s throw from the pier and seafront gardens. Live entertainment every night, very good food in the restaurant, perfect!
One of the best hotels we have stayed in in the UK. Spacious room with sea view and the facilities were very good. The 1912 restaurant served excellent food for breakfast and dinner.
