We stayed at Nowra just to go to the local zoo. I think it is one of the better zoos I have visited. Love the lion feeding and the crocks. Have been a number of times now and everytime we travel down the cost we always find time to visit the zoo.
The Anglicare Op-Shop is terrific and they sell quality items cheap and the staff are friendly, even I don't mind going there with the wife and I usually like op-shops.

We were there for a wedding and a post wedding barbecue in nearby Berry so didn't do a lot of touristy things during that time except visit Shoalhaven Heads and look around Nowra briefly one morning, Said that, Nowra is the gateway to the NSW South Coast and there are many attractions in the surrounds. We came through the stunning Kangaroo Valley and went home via the South Coast with its magnificent locales and scenery.

We really liked staying in Nowra as we were only a 20minute drive from Huskisson and Berry which are places we love. We didn’t spend much time in Nowra itself but if you have a car it’s a great place to stay as you can explore so much of the south coast from there. Ponte Bar and Dining is a must go to place for dinner when in Nowra, the food was amazing. Nowra Fresh and Nowra farmers market are a great place to do your grocery shopping as they have amazing fresh and local produce, deli items and grocery items.

Lots to do, beaches, golf courses all close by and very scenic, the river is nice for fishing and huge, lovely rocks along river and jacarandah trees all out in bloom or was in November, lots of shopping and restaurants, good for kids also, lots of restaurants, cafes and take away, walks along the river and yes can swim, but theres also plenty of beaches nearby and well worth a visit and look around all the beaches is a must, very scenic and take your camera, you will have heaps to do and look at and not an expensive area so your dollars will go far, traffic is busy during peak times but all part of the hustle and bustle of Nowra, luv it, you wont be bored here.
Fantastic!, very clean, very friendly staff, super fast internet, great pool, secure premises, great location and great value for money. Also awesome coffee and the little cafe food was indeed delicious!! When I asked if a late check out was possible? It was no problem at all. Thank you so much from the team @ myfoodislandway YOUTUBERS and when we return to Nowra this is where we will stay ♥
Loved the room and location. Right on the intersection to Kangaroo Valley, Kiama, and Wollongong. Nowra 10 minutes away. Great Chinese restaurant on site and a 2 minute to woollies, maccas, kfc. There is a great bowling club a couple of kms away. Staff are great and the room's are spacious and clean. This was my second stay here and am sure it won't be my last.
Room was overall amazing.. We opted for a room with King bed and it was amazing.. Probably a 72 inch TV and microwave were add-ons which we dint expect, apart from the cutlery, refrigeration, ironbox, etc (which are normally available in all hotels)..
Very much satisfied with the way receptionist greeted us.. Definitely recommended for families :)
My son and I stayed at Nowra motor inn for the convenience of 24 hour check in also good value for money as we needed to visit my very sick mother at Nowra hospital and did travel from qld . Location, convenience and value for money is what we received as well as friendly staff .
Wifi, bedding, tv, cleanliness all up to speed. Easy to access parking. Location excellent - 15 minute walk to middle of Nowra.
Fridge and crockery/cutlery adequate.
Room - generous proportions with high ceiling.
Staff were pleasant..
Room charge value for money.
I messed up my dates and came early, Ketan, the hotel manager was kind enough to change my dates with no additional charge
sheets and towels looked good
parking was right in front of the room
location was right off the highway, very convenient
Well appointed room with plenty of space. The room was clean, it had all the basics needed. For the price, this is great value for money and we will continue to stay there when visiting Nowra. We have another trip planned in July already.
Modern styled, clean, comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast good amount of selection. Excellent standard of hotel service, finally someone has got it right.
