    Lovely small quiet town.

Lovely small quiet town. Visited some great bakeries - Böns and Vanalinna kohvik! Great playgrounds for children in the city center, also kindergarden playgrounds are free to use for everybody over the weekend!

Great location, but really dirty and out of date.

Great location, but really dirty and out of date. I don't mind the Soviet time architecture, but broken lamps, bad window shades, dirty shower and toilet facilities - these leave one with feeling dirtier than before your stay.

Panga is a naturally beautiful place in Saaremaa, which is definitely worth visiting. A favorite destination is the high coast from which opens a stunning sea view, especially at sunset. The seashore is pebbled, but still suitable for walking and bathing in the sea.

Wooden beams, stray roof , field smell, lambs waiting to be feed…. Unique! Which is special with little modern touch with the gourmet food ❤️and wines! Fine dining aswell! Our room in the main building was very nice and well functioning. We loved the restaurant - the food was really great and service top! Spa procedures were my absolute favorite - knowledgeable and good staff with a very nice relax option after the procedures. Thank you! Sadly our family who stayed over in one of the side buildings suffered under several hick-ups, such as lack of warm water, electricity plugs not functioning and misfunctioning fridge. Though these things did not happen in our room, they effected our joint vacation flow to a certain extent. A luxury hotel should not afford mishaps.

I spent time in Kuressaare almost every month last year, and it quickly became one of my favorite places. The town has a calm, welcoming atmosphere with kind people, lovely little shops, and cozy cafés. Whether walking by the castle or enjoying the quiet streets, there's always something charming about being there. One of my favorite spots was the Kuressaare Castle and the surrounding park — it’s peaceful and scenic, perfect for a slow walk. I also enjoyed wandering along the marina and popping into the local craft shops in the town center. I had breakfast and some dinners at Meri Restaurant, which had a good atmosphere and consistent quality. One of my all-time favorites, though, is Arensburg Restaurant — I’ve had some of the best meals and most relaxing moments there. Pöide Grillhouse is also amazing , La Perla, Saaremaa veski - to be honest ... I dont think I have visited any place with bad food :D It is easy to move around - the town is compact and everything is within walking distance. You rarely need a car, and it’s safe and pleasant to walk or bike, even in the evening. If you need a car though - you can just have a taxi - not many people use them so usually it is easy to find one :) In summer, the beach is a nice spot for some solo time. You can also rent a bike and ride around the island or join a small group tour — the locals are friendly and it’s easy to feel comfortable on your own.

A great place for a weekend getaway in winter.

A great place for a weekend getaway in winter. I'll definitely visit again in another season. The parks and trails were beautifully kept and in easy reach of the town. Loorber Cafe & Bar stood out with friendly owners and great food. Kuressaare linnus was amazing with extensive displays and information about the history of Kuressaare.
