Probably the thing that stood out most for me was the medieval castle with it's impressive walls. Spent a lot of time wandering them late at night with friends. The city centre is also quite cozy.Guest review byAnnija - 4.0
Great location, but really dirty and out of date.
Great location, but really dirty and out of date. I don't mind the Soviet time architecture, but broken lamps, bad window shades, dirty shower and toilet facilities - these leave one with feeling dirtier than before your stay.Guest review byKaireEstonia - 10.0

If you wish to have special rural retreat ,this is the place to be! You can have unique stay with old time touch, like have a look like old toilet look like or how old islander use to live! Wooden beams, stray roof , field smell, lambs waiting to be feed…. Unique! Which is special with little modern touch with the gourmet food ❤️and wines! Fine dining aswell! All you can ever wish to have lovely holiday to have- is there!!Guest review byBirgitEstonia - 8.0

Panga is a naturally beautiful place in Saaremaa, which is definitely worth visiting. A favorite destination is the high coast from which opens a stunning sea view, especially at sunset. The seashore is pebbled, but still suitable for walking and bathing in the sea.Guest review byPilleEstonia - 10.0

I spent time in Kuressaare almost every month last year, and it quickly became one of my favorite places. The town has a calm, welcoming atmosphere with kind people, lovely little shops, and cozy cafés. Whether walking by the castle or enjoying the quiet streets, there's always something charming about being there. One of my favorite spots was the Kuressaare Castle and the surrounding park — it’s peaceful and scenic, perfect for a slow walk. I also enjoyed wandering along the marina and popping into the local craft shops in the town center. I had breakfast and some dinners at Meri Restaurant, which had a good atmosphere and consistent quality. One of my all-time favorites, though, is Arensburg Restaurant — I’ve had some of the best meals and most relaxing moments there. Pöide Grillhouse is also amazing , La Perla, Saaremaa veski - to be honest ... I dont think I have visited any place with bad food :D It is easy to move around - the town is compact and everything is within walking distance. You rarely need a car, and it’s safe and pleasant to walk or bike, even in the evening. If you need a car though - you can just have a taxi - not many people use them so usually it is easy to find one :) In summer, the beach is a nice spot for some solo time. You can also rent a bike and ride around the island or join a small group tour — the locals are friendly and it’s easy to feel comfortable on your own.Guest review bySigridEstonia
