How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bed is very soft would prefer a more firm bed. Well this is just more of personal preference.
Proximity to airport and the free shuttle service to airport and Dubai shopping mall.

The meal quality was below the standard of the rest of the hotel services.
The room was large and very well fitted out. The location near the airport was very good. The staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was amazing, room was quiet and super comfortable. It’s so close to the airport. Perfect for a layover. The gym is great too. The staff at reception and in the restaurant are absolutely fantastic too. 10/10

While choosing this hotel, and the room in particular, I paid attention to choose a room with airport view (what was important for me). In the booking it was clear from the photos and description that I was booking the airport view. When I arrived, the stuff informed me that the room would be different explaining that in Booking it was listed wrong. What disappointed me as I was looking forward for the airport view but didn’t get what I booked.
The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was nice and it was the perfect location for layover on Dubai

It would be good if the free airport shuttle timetable was easily found online and also instructions on what I'm looking for at the airport. Also would be good if the shuttle ran after midnight. I had a 4am flight so decided to take the last shuttle for convenience. It's fine, there was an option to take a taxi but the shuttle is more convenient.
Friendly service, they allowed me to check in early which was perfect. Very comfortable bed and huge shower with a rain shower head. Everything was very clean. Great to have a shuttle to and from the airport, and shuttles into town though I didn't end up using that on my layover.

Facilities wasn't that great. I was travelling with my family that includes an infant so I should have been provided more water but I need to ask for it multiple times during the day.

The shuttle bus hours for the airport ??? Only schedules at 6.10 and then past 8.00. Two hours without airport services during peak time ??

The included breakfast food was very poor. Stale pastries. Regardless of early or late breakfast the cooked items were not hot, just luke warm and I suspect theheav bain- maries were too much a heat sink that was too much for the small burners unddrneath. But wait staff were attentive.
Great room king size bed plenty of space and walking distsnce to airport terminal 1.

Break fast was nice and i appreciate the fact that the Chef provided us with a special Breakfast consisting of "IDLI", which we requested for. Would be nice if they can include more dishes for Indian's like Dosa also.

It was a walking distance to the conference I had to attend, perfect location for me. The room was spacious, the staff very attentive. Small but good quality gym, nice breakfast with lots of options. Would recommend to everyone

The only disappointing experience was the lunch I had at their main restaurant. I know it's a cheap-ish option comparing to other cafes/restaurants but still, they definitely have room for improvement there.
Lovely staff, very friendly and polite. Room I stayed in had very high ceilings and was of a great size. Location is perfect for those who need the airport, in addition they also have shuttle buses to Dubai Mall and I think even some beach. So if you need to stay in Dubai a few days on a budget - it's a nice place. They also have a good enough pool and gym.

Lack of information. Because of the storm all shuttle buses and taxis had stopped running. If we had been informed earlier we wouldn't have been in a panic to get to the airport.

I highly recommended aloft Dubai airport , easy to find and very near to airport and downtown, clean , nice staff , I have stay 3 times in aloft hotel and I didn’t find anything annoying in this hotel .
