Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBooking taxis online could be better with more assistance from the hotel. Better checks of the tables and floor in the breakfast area should be carried out, so that mess from previous patrons are cleared properly.
I loved the peace and quiet of the hotel. A bonus was the easily accessible eateries/ restaurants in the same building which offered a variety in food and cuisines. These also prevented unnecessary travelling, therefore, the need for transportation was eliminated. Breakfast options were varied and fulfilling.

IndiaThe staff, especially the reception staff, was very transactional and unfriendly. On the day I checked in I inquired about restaurants and cafes nearby as well as about the possibility of walking down to the nearby cafes. I was discouraged to do so and was given the impression that there is “nothing” nearby and my only option was to eat in the hotels cafeteria. This however is not true as there are options within a walkable distance , about 20-25 mins from the hotel. Also, if one has the time , fitness and enthusiasm , one can also walk to the dubai mall after 4:30 pm and it’s quite a pleasant 30 min walk. The hotel staff should be a bit more empathetic and patient with guests . Also, they must give options of nearby cafes and restaurants in the business bay area instead of trying to sell their food in their own cafe and restaurant which is boring and limited.
Property location was good. There were several cafes and supermarkets nearby . Also with some time in hand and after 4:30 pm in the evening one can easily walk down to the Dubai mall as well .

PakistanThis is the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. How the housekeeping boy is cleaning coffee cups and coffee bar with the same cloth as he is cleaning the toilet commode and wash basin. That sounds incredibly unsanitary and alarming. Maintaining proper hygiene standards is essential, especially in environments where food and beverages are prepared and consumed. Using the same cloth for cleaning both the coffee area and the toilet facilities poses a significant risk of cross-contamination and can lead to serious health hazards for customers. It's crucial to address this issue immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved. If possible, bringing this to the attention of the management or relevant authorities can help rectify the situation and prevent such practices from continuing.
It's great to hear that the location is pleasant and that the staff are friendly! Friendly and welcoming staff can truly enhance the overall experience, making customers feel valued and comfortable.
