Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesWas visiting friends at Damac Hills 2 and my friend and her daughter could not drive all the way back to Abu Dhabi late at night. I dropped her at the hotel and made sure she got settled because she checked - in late at night. The agent who conducted the check-in was not friendly. My friend also told me they were also rushed at check-out time by guest services. She ended up leaving a paper bag with her Golden Goose sneakers in the room and had to go back for it in the evening. The Wi-fi in the room was not working and was not explained at check-in by the front desk agent.
Booked for my friend and her daughter who live in Abu Dhabi. Room was clean, very nice and very comfortable. Location was very convenient especially if you're visiting friends at Damac Hills 2. Breakfast selection was good. Pool facilities was also good. SUPER appreciate the person who kept the paper bag with my friend's expensive shoes that incidently got left behind when they checked-out. I was happy that she at least got them back eventhough they were rushed at check-out. The hotel is good for a 1 night stay as it is conveniently located inside Damac Hills 2. Residents can book family visiting from overseas to keep them close.

United Arab EmiratesCoffee machine is new and expensive, but drink is not good. Play with settings to make it better. Kids play area outside was in sand and carpets were dried there (after hard rains) I parked car outside on desert, but there is a good private parking inside. Use it! Stuff is great - superfast check-in and -out, No problems at all.
For our room there was a great view to desert and DH2 constructions. 9th froor is good. Fast and silent lifts. Big room, with door to visit with kid (the best privacy) Very good beds for sleeping. Clean enough.

RomaniaDoesn't have anything around within walkable distance.
The rooms are clean and nice. Perfect for the location we need, but if you want to visit Dubai I don't recommend this hotel as it is very far from the city.

United StatesThe first room they gave me had a view of a gravel filled parking lot and no balcony. I booked the highest tier room so it was very surprising that they gave me such a crappy one and i subsequently felt scammed - It certainly wasn’t worth the AED450/night that I had paid. I forced the staff the next day to move me to a room with an actual view. But I didn’t think I should have had to do this. I feel they should discount these bad view rooms so that nobody else faces this. Another issue I had was the front desk staff and also with Booking.com. I wanted to extend my stay one additional night. The front desk staff told me some absolute rubbish about needing to book it through their own Rotana website (not booking.com - there was no way to do it this way apparently). The front desk staff told me I would save 10% by doing it this way but it actually cost me AED50 more! So they got my data and charged me more - another clever little scam!
For me the location was good - far from the city, quiet, nice views. The breakfast was good. The staff overall was nice.

CanadaOnly three drawbacks for the stay at this hotel: location, wifi and parking. Location is quite a ways away from Dubai downtown (30-40 min drive). You can't stay here if you don't have a rental car is my opinion. With that comes the need for parking. The hotel has a free parking facility which is great but it is not connected to the hotel. You have to walk out of the parking facility and into the hotel. This is not a problem if you are not handling luggage, but a nuisance nonetheless. The parking facility is also limited, so you may end up parking on an empty lot next to the hotel. Finally wifi is not the fastest out there but I was able to listen to music, watch Youtube etc. without issues.
This is a great hotel overall. Great staff at the front desk, no exceptions. From check-in to check-out everything was super smooth, very professional and friendly. The room was spacious and quiet, very clean, came with many complimentary items, a nice spacious balcony that served as a great spot to sit at the end of the day and enjoy the nice March weather in Dubai. Great facilities, team and people. The business center is great, with easy access to a large printer and a Mac to get any business-related printing or emailing done. Overall, this hotel is fantastic value for money. It does have drawbacks I will discuss in the next section, but you can't get a better deal than that.
