Wild wadi park access is complimentary as well as towels but a charge for lockers ? This is a real let down as one locker per room as a minimum should be provided considering all the other items are free. Waiting for buggies can be a pain and we have made suggestion to install buttons to call them at certain points around the complex as sometimes waiting in the heat is hard work when no shade around. Our villa had outside seating however this could not be used due to bird muck being constantly over the furniture we have recommended a cover to be installed above the wooden pagola. We didn’t stay half board but used the resteraunts both were good food but some of the staff seemed a little off and this can really stand out when the majority are excellent. Very busy trying to get a taxi at certain times from the front of al qasr this can be chaotic but in fairness Dubai can be in itself.

Very good check in from Santiago and butler Kuuba was excellent. Great hotel nice to have boats and buggies to take you around. Fantastic pools and beach as well as great selection of restaurants. Location is great for a resort and it doesn’t feel like you’re in Dubai when inside. But for more to do if you don’t like staying in the actual hotel and don’t want to get taxis everywhere I would recommend near the marina and walk. The hotel complex has a souk in the middle which is nice has coffee shops etc in them as well as currency exchange and retail. Nice views all around for the burj al Arab although it’s nice to have a glance inside we would recommend that only as the cafe we used for food was extremely good service but not to our tastes. This is a luxury hotel and I would recommend it.

too many russian guests, people reserve the sunbeds although they arrive hours later, lot of external people coming for dinner or day at the beach. Getting old needs renovation in some villas

One of the pools we had access to was closed because a princess was swimming in it and no one else was allowed in. The other pool was closed because of the flooding which could not be helped but the main pool was open, it was just further away

The buttlers changed every day and they were often unavailable or did not understand our queries.

Great location, ocean view villas were very close to the beach, well trained staff (especially our housekeeper Rakib was the best 😊)! We had great shopping experience in the souk and the tropical vibe of the resort did not feel like in the city and yet we were just few minutes from the city centre! Also loved the beach clubs - Shimmers had the best music playing all day long! Beach service and the cocconut guy just added to the perfection!

I had to extend my stay due to flight cancellations and the staff was 5 stars in helping out. Not only the room and hotel are above expectations but the staff is next level! Staysie at reception went well beyond to help me with sorting my stay while I was busy with work meetings.

From the room, to the staff, breakfast and selection of restaurants all is at the level you expect and beyond. Shika at the breakfast was always making sure everything was perfect and I can only praise Staysie at the reception for helping me out with extending my stay and sorting out my rooms while I was working.

Breakfast was outrageous delicious. The service in all the restaurants and during Breakfast were fast and efficient. Beach was clean the Beach boys were very attentive and the lunch service at the beach was great. Always clean towels on the beach and constantly fresh water bottles. Specially the Ice-cream man was very nice brought every 2 hours ice cream sorbet which was very refreshing.

I didnt like that the beverages such as tea , coffee and even water are not included into dinner buffet on the half board package. Many hotels in uae I visited normally included the drinks. My breakfast order of drinks and ommelette at French riviera was delayed by 40 min. Bed matresses are quite old and not flat. Was not so comfortable. Toilet at the room is missing washing hose.

I loved the serenity of the place especially villa areas. Staff were obviously well-trained and outgoing.

Too many “influencers” snapping away.

In my opinion the Dar Al Masyaf is the best “Hotel” of all of those within the Jumeriah resort, it is more peaceful and spacious by far. We have stayed at the DAR in excess of 20 + times, so that in itself speaks volumes for the place . However it may become a victim of its own success , the resort is getting bigger each year, there are now 8 hotels on the complex. There is nothing to dislike about the DAR or indeed the resort, it really is superb 👍

We stayed in the villas and my only criticism was of the evening drinks. They were very limited Prosecco (which I dislike) and only nuts/crisps. I would have maybe expected a few fresh canapés. We had to fetch the drinks, we sat on the roof terrace and no one offered top ups. No other guests participated during our stay and I can see why. No comparison to the club lounge experience

The food in the restaurant complex was not as good as we were expecting but the food by the beach was really good value and tasty.

The room was fabulous. Shower/bath area was really well laid out. Good water pressure too! Comfy (huge) bed and sitting area. Nice outdoor area where peacocks and peahens wandered past. The gondola's were a great way to get around the complex and it was really relaxing just floating around. The golf carts were a great way to get around and better if you wanted to go somewhere specific/be dropped exactly where you wanted to be. The grounds are amazingly well kept and the whole lagoon is fantastically well set up. The "cocktail" hour were a really nice add on. Housekeeping were fabulous in replenishing items, as my husband was really ill, so between us we used all the tissues and water really quickly! It was a really good room to be stuck in if you are ill and can't do any sightseeing! Our butler was great in trying to assist with car and flight issues. We would stay here again if we return to Dubai.
