Exceptional service in the hotel. Due to our flight schedule, we have arrived very early to the hotel, so we've been provided with private waiting rooms and after short wait got free of charge upgrade in order not to keep us waiting any longer. Highly recommend!

One aspect we were disappointed in was being unable to sleep due to construction work at the rear of the taller tower (club lounge tower overlooking the beach). They’re building what looks to be by the images a fantastic new hotel but unfortunately the 24hr construction and diggers beeping all night hampered our sleeping. We asked to move and they arranged this very quickly, to the smaller tower (again overlooking the beach) One point to note our new room didn’t have a balcony at all, which I guess helped our sleeping as it faced onto the same rear of the hotel (view of the beach) but further away from the actual construction site. This is the one and only negative. That being said it’s probably difficult staying in Dubai with full peace and quiet as there’s always construction going on as they’re always improving the city and hotels.

Excellent hotel, location in JBR area it couldn’t be better. The club lounge 25th floor is worth paying extra for, overlooking the beach, private and quiet breakfast everyday, soft drinks all day, afternoon tea everyday, food/beverage at night time all inclusive if you wanted to minimise cost before your stay. The best aspect of this hotel is the staff and service, both impeccable, you won’t find better anywhere else. We visited several hotels and restaurants during our stay and nowhere came close, well except the Burj Al Arab which was also excellent. One bell-boy in particular stood out was Kaleem, he couldn’t do enough for us, knew our names, just simply outstanding.

Hotel in some places are getting old in places now, and a makeover may be due soon.

Convenient to pick up hire car from Diamond Lease. Plus nice to reminisce in the Underground (I used to live in Dubai many years ago).

The booking system, it was showing cheaper rates but when to book it was always showing an error! The only option was the more expensive one! I really wanted to stay in this hotel because of an event, but I didn’t get good value for money at all! Rang the reservation a few times but they never wanted to honour the price even though I had screenshots to show that online I’m getting a lower price for those dates but impossible to book!

Rooms are big, beautiful and very clean! Elemis products in the bathroom! Adults only infinity pool is amazing! Staff were very attentive and helpful! Arrived early in the morning and got a room straight away, hours before the check in , thank you! It was great to get the room after a long flight being really tired! Private beach is nice as well! Breakfast was nice as well!

The pool and beach access closed earlier than we hoped. The men's steam room was down the entire stay as well.

The staff was extremely helpful, especially the concierge. Kaleem was very helpful in assisting us our entire trip and helped tremendously.

Proximity to beach party

Breakfast brilliant-plenty of choice,fresh and continually replenished and varied each day. Loved the daily aqua fit and pool.Great access to private beach.Hotel staff all very professional and nothing was too much trouble including arranging taxis and giving directions for local restaurants and transport links. Enjoyed the international gala dinner on our last night. Also a lovely touch was a “happy birthday “ welcome and cake -thank you.

The food at the breakfast is not very tasty, the eggs station could be better. The sea is very dirty and doesn't get cleaned enough during busy times on weekends. But I guess it isn't the hotel disadvantage

The staff is very nice, helpful and attentive. The infrastructure is very well developed and maintained. It is very quiet in the room, at the beach and at the pool on the 3rd floor After the checkout they let us stay and use the amenities, which was very nice and convinient

Zero Gravity was right next door on beach and they play very loud music on ladies day and the weekend brunches. I see they are having an Ibiza type club built as well.

I had to ask 3 times on my first day for the additional bed to be placed in my room

Spent a week here with my 2 sons at the start or April which coincided with Ramadan and Eid. Whilst the hotel is perhaps not as modern as some of the others it is more than adequate and in a great location to explore JBR, Marina and to get to all the Malls etc. We stayed in a Tower Room which was a good size – we had two twin and an extra bed and was more than enough room. You get complimentary bottles of water daily for all occupants. Stayed Half Board and enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the evening Ramadan Buffett – both of which had plenty of options. We also ate at the underground pub and Pool and both were decent. I used the gym daily and whilst some of the equipment is a bit tired you can certainly get a good workout in. There is building work going on at the hotel but it didn’t really impact us at all. The service is what really makes this hotel and one person stood out – Aayush around the pool was exceptional and nothing was too much for him. He was very diligent and would always be looking at enhancing your stay. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again.
