How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good food and nice room. Location was great as I was travelling for work and the hotel is within walking distance. Very practical and less stressful specially to avoid traffic.

Few options to eat around at night.
Liked the location as it was close to the fair, close to metro and walking distance to the Museum of The Future. The hotel has a mini shop which is a plus. Room was very clean and neat. There was several options for breakfast.

1️⃣ Drilling and hammering in the morning for hours, both days of my stay. 2️⃣ Shower has terrible temperature control, goes from warm to cold to boiling hot in a split second making it the worst shower I can remember. Shower pressure weak aswell. 3️⃣ Very slow internet, Youtube videos will stop and buffer all the time. 4️⃣ They have a laundry room, so i planned to wash my dirty clothes from a long trip through different borders, my plan was to do it on my last day, when I asked the staff about tokens i was told it was not working that day.
It's a decent hotel, and for a solo traveler the room size was perfect and clean, location was perfect, staff was nice too, the price was discounted for 200 AED incl taxes per night on a weekend, I think it normally goes for around 500 per night, so I pulled the trigger. But I ended up slightly disappointed I must say.. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately to many issues through the stay. The hotel has potential to be very good but there were some things that just made my stay less comfortable.

Hotel.is a little old, and there was an AC leak in my room. Breakfast was always the same and no pancakes.

Centrally located and close to metro but I would prefer Ibis World Trade Center as it is bit more closer to metro but this property is still great for its value

The staff is cooperative as well as the services of the front desk were excellent. The standard of cleaning is good.
The room was comfortable, breakfast as per the required standard and location near to Metro and Shaikh Zaid Road which is excellent.

location is the best, especially for those who are coming for an exhibition.they also have valet parking inside the hotel there is mini mart which was expensive but was 24/7 open staff is good room is okay but price is 50/50% expensive...

Just a few small issues - the shower leaked outside onto the floor after being used
The location is ideal for tourists, the building has a modern touch to it and is very convenient to navigate

The staff was quite cold and unfriendly. The WiFi connection kept getting disconnected which was very inconvenient.

The internet was a nightmare, extremely slow; I couldn't even watch a basic video on YouTube.There were often queues at the desk.
Nice staff, affordable, very well located, with a kettle in the room, and lots of choices for breakfast.
