Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

SpainThe staff is not really nice. We had a problem with another guest, someone tried to force the main door and the other room that connects two rooms in the early morning, we were really scared. I informed the staff the next day so they could contact this guest or do something like change our room, as we were not feeling comfortable and safe anymore in there. The lady from the reception took our details like nothing happened, I didn’t feel any type of hospitality or support from the staff. Honestly, I will not come back.

Saudi ArabiaI stayed here several times since it opened, some FFE in 848 is looking worn out, the coffee at breakfast was mostly stale… too long on the hotplate. Individual coffee dispenser machines is a must today.
Great location, really excellent staff all around, I very much liked the refilling of the glass water bottle, I asked Kathleen for a late check-out by 14:00, and she gave it in till 15:00. Mai at security was ever so helpful too.

United StatesBreakfast buffet chefs akwardly bother guests "during eating" to immediatly give them reviews on phone. Buffet is average, but this behavior makes it unpleasant. Hotel has a problem with enforcing "no- smoking" rule... guests do it, staff does nothing about it, except offer to move you, often to another room that smells also. Rooftop Pool life guards even smoke on duty!

AustraliaI had a room on the Mezzanine level which had a strong smell of mold. My room had an outside garden directly up against the window which might have been the cause of the dampness. Best to book a room on a higher floor.
This is an excellent accommodation option for those with an early or late arrival at Dubai airport. The hotel is a short taxi (or metro) ride from the airport.
