The only notable downside was the shared bathroom situation. With just one washroom serving two men's rooms, which could accommodate up to 16 individuals when fully occupied, the facilities can feel quite limited during peak times. Additionally, while there is a gender-neutral washroom available, it does not offer a bathing option, which can be a bit inconvenient. But this is what you can get in this budget in Dubai Marina, so don't WORRY ;)

The hospitality at Lunar Hostel is exceptional, with a management team that's both helpful and cooperative. Perfectly located in Dubai Marina, the hostel has a tram stop right outside the building and is about a 15-minute walk (1.1 km) from the DMCC Metro station. The accommodations are comfortable and exceptionally clean. A standout feature is the communal kitchen, where guests can cook their own meals without any extra charges, providing a homely feel to the stay.

Getting there is a little confusing even when following the instructions. There’s a garage entrance and it took me about 20 minutes to get access into the building. I was able to get in with someone at another hostel in the building. I went with in with her and was able to find it by talking with people in the building. The front entrance might be easier but I didn’t know how to get in at that way initially. You have to go up the stairs and find building 4

The bathroom fittings need some repairs and provision for thinner pillows would be much appreciated.

The attendant lady, Mary is an excellent person looking after the interest of the boarders very well and keeping the place neat and tidy. Her service is impeccable and very impressive.

I did like everything but I do have a suggestion. It would be very helpful if you can provide a place to keep shoes and socks outside of the rooms for hygienic purposes.!

Be sure to ask for a lower bunk bed! The upper ones have no privacy at all, no curtains and you can not darken the rooms. But the host was super friendly and organised a sleeping mask for me (:
