Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Hong KongSome staff were rude and would decline your request for basic things straight away. Also some staff think they owned the property so when there was a huge rodent found in my room, the staff asked me to change to opposite room and would see me move my bags, clothes & stuff from one room to another without helping a bit. When asked to help, he said it's not my job to help you move your stuff. Quite an attitude for a bell boy 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Otherwise some staff like Vishnu, Thamim in the night shift and the engineering staff David or Joseph was amazing.

GermanyOverall room was in a pretty bad condition. The bathtub was very dirty and pretty old. Also, the room was dirty and had stains as if it was not even cleaned before handing it over to us. The bed was okay though.
The location was good on the main road with many shops nearby to do the grocery. Some restaurants close to the hotel were pretty cheap to have lunch and dinner.
