Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Saudi ArabiaThe room given to me wasn’t spacious as it is triangle shape. The one sofa in the room is not comfortable! Also. I tried the room service food menu and the dinner was expensive but not up to expectations as it wasn’t delicious.

PolandThe main issue for some time forward are two huge construction sites on both sides of hotel. This makes lot of noise even at the night. My room had balcony with a sliding door, which is not airtight. So if you are sensitive for noises, be aware.
In general good location, easy parking, variatey of restaurants and bars in the hotel. Good steaks. Clean rooms and good room service.

United KingdomWe paid extra for a balcony - but would have liked to have had the heads up there is major construction obscuring the view and very noisy when you open the doors. We were out most of the time so not a big issue but wouldn’t have paid the extra if we’d known.
Lovely room and staff, fantastic choice at breakfast and very comfortable. Mini bus to mall and beach was handy. Huge choice for breakfast and accommodated requests as well.

AustraliaThere were things I didn’t know, i.e. that there was a shuttle bus to the mall & kite beach until I accidentally found out on my last day. It would have been very helpful to have been told this when I arrived. There wasn’t anything much to do in the surrounding area so I needed to get taxis to places.
My room was very clean and comfortable, I also had a view of Burj Khalifa. The staff were very helpful when I asked for their assistance. The location was safe.

I find the Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront always an excellent place to stay in whenever visiting the UAE. It has good facilities, it is clean and it is in the perfect location within walking distance to every good place you would love to visit in Dubai CBD.

ItalyThey don't replace shampoo bottles when you run out. So on my fourth day I rang three times and still couldn't get shampoo. I did without. The Ladder buffet dinner is not something to write home about. The meat was tough. The view from the non Burj Khalifa side give a view of construction work. I didn't particularly mind but some people might.
The bed was very soft and comfortable. The room decor absolutely pleasing. The position was also highly serviceable and they had a shuttle bus to KIte Beach which came in handy. The personnel helping with luggage are amazing as was the gentleman who checked me in.
