Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

HungaryTwo things: 1. The gym is too small and the equipment is not sufficient for a regular training 2. The reataurant is not the cleanest. I had to send back the cutlery twice as it was not clean. The staff forgets your order. They are very kind people but poorly managed. Thats’s all, the place is fantastic.
Excellent location, beautiful lobby, very nice beach. The Club is perfect place for relaxing with an extremely kind and professional staff. The beach is also very well managed.

United KingdomThe ONLY observation was the journey getting off the Palm. Took over 15 minutes just to reach the main road out of the Palm, so if you’re wanting to go to the Marina or the City, it does take 50 minutes to an hour in taxi. They need to build a bridge to make it more easily to get off the Palm.

The Indian restaurant is to die for… a high level experience!!! I have been in so many 5 stars hotels and resorts all around the world! And have been always very judgemental about everything! The service is amazing in this hotel. The staff are so professional and helpful. Good choice of dining options with high quality food served throughout. The Taj has the largest pool on the Palm so never feels crowded with the option to sunbathe on the beach. Always plenty of sunbeds available.

EstoniaI stayed with my family (2 adults, 2 children) in a Luxury sea view room with a king bed, which had enough room for four. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and varied. The hotel also has a 24-hour reception of a nurse, who can call a doctor with the necessary equipment if there is a health problem or concern (the doctor is for an additional fee). The hotel has only one large pool, but it was enough for us. The atmosphere is calmer than at some of the bigger hotels, which suited us as we didn't want to be crowded. It takes 1-1.5 hours to drive to the center of Dubai, but this is same for all hotels in the Palm.

NetherlandsKid’s pool is a bit tiny with no playful slides or splash fountains, etc. Outdoor playground for kids is ok but has limited toys for kids to play.
Overall very nice resort. Pool bars are nice, restaurant options are nice, indoor game rooms is cool! Food is satisfying. Indoor Kids’ play area (popsicle) is really nice.

The quality of the food is amazing - extra points for some Indian foods. Special thanks to Mr. Vikas who is almost on his toes to go extra mile to please our stay. He is a lovely person and like last time - always attentive and accommodated our crazy requests! Been to many hotels across the world but this one is close to our heart!
