The location was amazing, breakfast was amazing, host was amazing and the room was excellent, especially enjoyed the balcony view!! Perfect for staring at the epic mountains and even getting in a bit of stargazing.

EVERYTHING. The owners are so amazing, they really take care of the hotel, have an amazing “home made” breakfast, awesome recommendations of things to do, etc. Also, if it’s not cloudy, the views from their lake rooms are outstanding.

Everything about Hotel Fassbind was amazing! The family feeling, the old school decor and most importantly Dani, Linda and Heidi. The hot tub experience, the breakfast, and all the warm and fuzzy feelings you get when you find a place that you feel very home like.

This accommodation is very special, the hosts Dani and Linda made us feel welcomed. We stayed for 3 nights, and we were unlucky with the weather, unexpected heavy snow in April but Dani went above and beyond to give us recommendations of places to visit & good restaurants and also cleaned the snow on our car! The room is very clean and has beautiful mountain view. Breakfast is pretty good, and we got to meet Heidi that made it more special. We did not have any issue finding this accommodation. We enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend!

The hosts were the most helpful and friendly people I’ve ever met. Nothing was a chore for them and they did everything possible to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. So many extra surprises and nice little touches. It was wonderful.

Stunning views, beautiful hotel. Everything is made with love, from the freshly cooked meal for dinner (it was delicious) from the owner Daniel, to the lovely decorated hotel rooms wirh stunning views to the amazing breakfast buffet. Also to mention Linda who was very welcoming and frienfly as well! We absolutely loved our stay, unfortunately it was only one night but we will be back for sure!

My stay at the FASSBIND Beausite hotel, run by the charming couple Linda and Dani, was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by their impeccable hospitality. Linda and Dani are outstanding hosts, always available to meet my needs and make my stay most enjoyable. The highlight of this establishment lies in Dani's divine cuisine, a true epicurean who elevates each dish with exceptional ingredients. Every meal was a true gastronomic experience, where exquisite flavors and impeccable presentations melded perfectly. The dishes were prepared with great attention to detail, showcasing Dani's culinary talent. The atmosphere of the hotel was also very welcoming and friendly. The decor was charming and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere conducive to unwinding. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything necessary for a pleasant stay. A beautiful traditional Swiss hotel and the most amazing views, sunset and sunrise over the mountains was something else. We had room 3 with the balcony , just perfect and the idyllic view with a morning brew. Danni and Linda are the best hosts from when you arrive to when you leave. The personal touches throughout your stay make it home from home. They pride themselves in sharing the best possible swiss experience and the fabulous breakfast consisting from all local farmers, cheesemakers, beekeepers in the area. This was always a dream for me and ticked all the boxes and more. The hottub is a must with the platter, sunset was incredible. Danni shared lots of history of the area which was fantastic to discover and his recommendations for our day were spot on. Discovering the true Switzerland, with even had lunch in the revolving restaurant at 2950m, if your a James bond fan it's a must! We can't wait to return again next year and discover more. The trains and buses were fantastic, everything is so well organised. The train station is in the airport so made our journey from Zurich to Interlaken straight forward. A 2 hr direct train journey, then a bus from interlaken up the hill to beatenberg, the stop is just below the rd to the hotel. Heidi the hotel dog loves a cuddle. 5 stars all round. Thank you for the most amazing adventure ,a short trip this time but we can't wait to spend longer with you. Mandy and Chris, Aberporth, West Wales

Beautiful location, 20 mins from Interlaken West by bus. Amazing view on lake and mountains. In few minutes on paths and slopes. Cozy and old fashioned rooms, full equipped. The staff is extremely kind and makes you feel really part of the family.

Dani and his wife are the most gracious of host who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and provide locale advice on restaurants and things to do in the area. Excellent location with a scenic view of the mountains. The breakfast is hand picked locally sourced foods that the owner makes himself.
