The single room was near the stairs and the bathroom so was noisy until late and again in the early morning

The young familybwho run this hostel are very kind and welcoming. Big breakfast and often cake from the bakery. Sometimes noisy depending on the guests and the position of the room.

Our only small qualm was the showers; they definitely have hot water but they oscillated pretty wildly in temperature, hot one minute and cold the next. Not the worst shower experience ever but not the best either.

Great hostel overall, for us it was slightly more expensive than some others but well-worth the few extra dollars. They have wood-burning stoves that keep the place cozy on cold days, and 24h complimentary (instant) coffee and tea with hot water always ready. Beds were comfy, and the rooms were a good temperature for sleeping at night. Breakfast was basic but nice; good bread from the bakery next door with butter and jam, and eggs made to order. Wifi was strong and consistent, kitchen was basic but functional.

Building is a bit loud, no good damping either to other rooms and to the roaring wind.

The place is clean with good wifi and the family is very hospitable, i spent there very nice Christmas, i felt almost like at home :)

The rooms don't have a locker and are in general somehow small. And unfortunately we couldnt eat breakfast due to the kayak tour early in the morning.

The staff was really friendly and recommended us a kayak-Tour, which was amazing.

Get some extra layers,as the rooms further away from the stove in the corridor get a bit cold.

Poor lighting. And Alma, the owners daughter, was a bit all over the place. She is super cute, but makes a bit of noise.

Great vibe, well equipped kitchen, comfortable room. Nice fire oven to get boots dried. Tv in the common area, and coffee served during the entire day.

Great host with great recommendations regarding a kayak tour to the marble caves, food and also transportation. Arriving to this remote are was not so easy and we were worried whether everything would work out as we planned. With the host’s help this was no issue at all and everything worked out very smoothly

The common places of the hostal are full of stuff, a tidy up would be beneficial. In the evening it took ages until someone put on the fire to heat the cabin and there was nothing provided that I could have done it by myself. The mattress worn out, walls very thin, so could hear the neighbor next door snoring during the night

Hostel is quite run down. Shared bathrooms in moderate state. Water from taps looks quite unclean (not sure if this is a feature of the town, or limited to this hostel). No towels provided and room size quite small for the price.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Off-street parking for motorcycles. Good location in the center of town. Comfortable bed.

Don’t feel that it was a good value. One of the more expensive places I have stayed on the Carretera Austral and it didn’t have as good facilities as other places for the same price.
