Concon itself is a bit disappointing.Far too much re surfacing of roads made movement tricky

Great location and view over the sea. Staff were helpful. Short walk to the beach though going into town is better for restaurants. Overall a great hotel and highly recommended.

Concon as a location when visiting Valparaiso is great. Only 40 minutes ($8 Uber) away from a beautiful city (Valparaiso) that at night becomes unsafe, Concon is great and this boutique hotel overlooking an incredible beach is the perfect spot.

A little difficult to find particularly in the dark!

Lovely hotel and wonderful attentive staff (a young gentleman) who received us late, cooked a wonderful meal and made mean piso sour based on his mother's secret recipe. Breath taking views. Thank you so much!

The only thing is that breakfast could be a bit more diversified, but not a big deal! There are a lot of restaurants by Playa La Boca.

The best part about Laura del Mar is that the property unfolds right onto the beach! Lying on my bed, I could see and hear the ocean and it was very peaceful and therapeutic. My room had a nice balcony where I could sit and watch people surfing at Playa La Boca. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a nice patio to drink wine and look at the view.

The view from the room, terrace and breakfast room was just incredible. We had enough space for our luggage and the main areas were very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Be sure to read positives below!!! Friend and I took Condor bus direct from Santiago to Concon. Terminal is a bus stop near busy traffic circle. No visible cabs or Uber near. Googled walk directions thru typical main street lined with little eateries and merchants. Guessing about a mile to hotel Uphill busy street with either no sidewalk or very narrow one pulling small luggage. Very difficult being senior 67 unstable with heart condition. I fell and badly injured first day outing. Again wonderful host Gaston helped even going to pharmacy to get supplies. You need a car in Concon. Yellow Beach is ok walk with more upscale restaurants. Winetaria Peruvian had excellent service with server Juan from Venezuela and enjoyed the salmon dish and black beer.

Upfront communication before arrival with Gaston (owner) and Camilo his assistant was wonderful. Both spoke my language English being from Texas. The gated updated property was welcoming greeted by our friendly host Gaston. I am a picky neat freak with design background. The flowers, decor and cleanliness was equally captivating as the staff with awesome views of the ocean below and panoramic bay. This is a small intimate boutique hotel for a quiet getaway. Comfortable indoor outdoor areas for special breakfast or afternoon drinks or light fare at reasonable cost. Room and bath modern and very clean white with colorful tile and canvass art. Inviting king bed and comfy white linens. Again upper level full glass doors to private terrace for two with awesome views and sounds of waves and plentiful birds chirping and sea gulls visiting. Beautiful flower boxes added extra touch to views. Small fridge lightly stocked reasonably priced. Wifi very goodand enjoyed Netflix on nice wall mount TV. I am nearing end of life and no utopia anywhere but Gaston and Camillo at the Santa Laura Hotel made a wonderful lasting memory. Thanks guys! God bless you! Add a hot tub for total perfection.

Badly disturbed sleep. On the second night there was lot of noise from a nearby party or rave that went on to after 4:am. We couldn’t sleep. I can’t say how often this happens but it was once too often. Disappointingly the owner manager - just shrugged his shoulders when informed.

The hotel is a nice little place perched on the side of a hill as shown in the pictures. It has a lovely outlook and is nicely decorated and designed. The young reception staff were helpful and friendly.
