Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaAbsolutely nothing - everything was perfect
We had a most wonderful stay at Cinco Rios Lodge. It's primarily a fly-fishing resort; during the season they are generally booked with anglers who are there for the guided fishing tours. We had just completed driving down the Carretera Austral from Puerto Montt, and only needed one night of lodging in Coyhaique. The lodge had an available room and it looked nice online, so we gave it a shot. So happy we did! The lodge is luxurious, the scenic view from our balcony was spectacular, and our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and amazingly comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast the next morning was delicious and more than we could eat. We had a truly fantastic stay, and I give the Cinco Rios Lodge my highest commendation! Five stars!

United States of AmericaThis is a lodge you definitely do not want to miss! The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and the wifi is excellent. But the level of service here is the real story. Sebastian, the owner, made us feel at home immediately. As an example when we arrived we had been looking for a specific locally made Gin and had no luck in finding it. Sebastian immediately made a call to a business in town to make sure that they carried it before we went. Once he found out they had it he offered to drive us into town to get it. This type of service is extraordinary. It was repeated like this throughout our stay. The lodge has a great feel to it with wonderful places and spaces to relax and talk and even a lounge upstairs with a large television and every channel on earth to enjoy. Great for me as a sports fan from the US. Lastly the breakfasts and dinners we had were delicious and savory. It is nice that they have a real chef on staff. Thanks again Sebastian for treating us like family.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I don’t like about this place is that I live 6,600 miles away from it :(
First off, I want to apologize for my delay on posting this well-deserved review. I’ve been staying in places with limited internet but here we go! Cinco Ríos Lodge is, by far, the most wonderful place to stay in while in Patagonia. This is not a hyperbole nor an exaggeration. I’m also not being paid to write this, nor would I want to be. I stayed here on two separate occasions for one night each last week and both experiences were top notch, and genuinely unforgettable. 1. Location: Located off the Carretera Austral, this lodge is super close to places in central Coyhaique, be it a gas station or a the grocery store. The lodge’s actual location itself is a DREAM. I honestly had to pinch myself while admiring the views. All the rooms as well as the wood-fired hot tub face the beautiful landscape that will take your breath away. 2. Facilities: what a wonderful lodge. The beds were insanely comfortable. I’m talking, beds that won’t break your back and pillows that won’t make you waking up with a sore neck the next morning. I’ve got lower back spinal issues, and it being Patagonia, it can be quite difficult to find bedding that won’t flare up my back problems and ensuing sciatica. Rooms were extremely spacious, clean, beautiful and modern decor. It’s unobtrusive which is appreciated as it’s a hard journey from both north and south on the Carretera to get to Coyhaique. Shower with amazing water pressure. Wood-fired hot tub that soothe your muscles after a long drive. The dining area is also spacious and has a really positive vibe. Wifi speeds are great which is refreshing when you need to do things online. 3. Drinks & food: Yo, mad props to their chef. Pro tip: GET THE TUNA TARTAR. *chef’s kiss!* the wine selection was enjoyable as were the cocktails. Props on the Cab. It seems like great care is taken to select only fresh ingredients which is a welcome treat. 4. Last, but certainly not least, and the true gift and joy of this lodge: the owner and staff.
