The internet service was spotty, however we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room to have too many issues. The bathroom rugs need to be bigger.

Beautiful property. Its gives the Spanish feel as well as a welcoming appeal. Breakfast was delicious. It’s tailored and personalized.

Everything was perfect.

This place is amazing in every respect! We loved our stay in this beautiful little hotel. The owners, Adri and Christian, were so helpful. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. They also booked lovely restaurants and a private tour in Valparaiso, all of which were fantastic. The hotel itself is stunning. You can tell that a lot of love has gone into every nook and cranny. The room itself was very comfortable and spotless. We also spent a lot of time lounging on comfy sofas in the communal areas, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. You can select exactly what you want for breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. It was really delicious. The hotel is in a great location, only a few blocks back from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Our stay here really was the loveliest experience and we would definitely stay here again if we returned to Vina del Mar. Thank you very much Adri and Christian.

Owners were amazingly helpful, nice and service oriented wanting everything to be just right. So helpful in making recommendations and accommodating our schedule. Rooms and whole decor of hotel is beautiful and tasteful. Wonderful outside garden nooks and delicious custom breakfast when we wanted it. Nothing but the best on all areas.

We liked literarily everything. The room was very cozy and clean. The whole hotel and the courtyard as well. Beautiful and cozy garden. The owners paid a great deal attention to details when they renovated the place. Breakfasts were excellent. Made to order, served in the courtyard. The hotel is at a great location. Plenty of restaurants around, close to the beach. And we felt very safe there. But first and foremost the owners are the nicest most friendly people. Despite being busy running the hotel they always had time to chat. And they spoke excellent English - very important, since we did not speak a word of Spanish.

Wouldn’t change Anything!!!

“Amazing”! I have Never had an experience like this staying anywhere before. Christian was incredibly helpful and made the experience truly one of a kind. We enjoyed the breakfast (great options and was filling for two active folks), the staff was all so attentive and wonderful, the whole place was incredibly clean, and generally we had an amazing experience. There are a lot of options and I understand it’s hard to choose, but you won’t find a better choice. You can tell they truly care about your experience. Ask questions while you’re there! Christian goes out of his way in every respect to make sure you have a good time. The location is also fabulous! Valparaiso is an easy Uber ride and the beaches are close. Great food everywhere you turn and truly wonderful people. I could keep going but I think you get it… Be open to new experiences and have a comfortable place to stay.

Adri, Christian, and all of the staff at Esencia were beyond welcoming! I prefer boutiques/B&Bs rather than hotels, and this one had all the personal touches that I love, including a delicious breakfast and a lovely patio with a herb garden (for your morning tea!) I couldn’t recommend it more.

Esecncia was one of our best accommodations in Chile. This beautiful boutique hotel is located in a very safe and dynamic neighborhood. The owners and the staff were super friendly and gave us wonderful recommendations. The breakfast was excellent and the room was really comfortable. There is a lot of attention to details and you really feel at home here.

Loved the warm welcome and being able to personalize our breakfast, especially since I’m gluten free and my friend is a vegetarian. Also, the recommendations for food we received exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable room and peaceful atmosphere. We were also right in the middle of all the stores and restaurants so it was a great location.

I can't say enough good things about Esencia and everyone there. My stay was absolutely perfect! Much better than I was expecting. Starting with the communication days before my arrival, I received all the information that I needed. Upon my arrival I was pleased by how cute the place is and a really nice neighbourhood. The check-in process was a breeze. They also gave me a couple of great recommendations of restaurants and activities, they also reserved the restaurantes for me! If you're thinking about staying in Viña del Mar, I can't imagine a better place to stay than Esencia!

I found the hotel absolutely amazing. It was a tranquil place off the main street with beautiful garden where to sit at the end of the day to rest and enjoy the wine from the hotel. The room was also perfect, with bath, very comfortable bed, soft white sheets and decorated in a cosy manner. It felt a very warm and welcoming place. My stay was even better thanks to the owners who were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with being up for nice chats, confirming that everything was going smoothly and I felt comfortable. Additionally, I also enjoyed all the options available for breakfast, made out of local food, healthy and delicious :)

Everything about the property and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Adri and Christian we incredible hosts with a beautiful establishment, and we couldn’t have been happier. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and at the ready with amazing recommendations. Our stay with them not only solidified us coming back to Chile, but also having another stay with them.
