Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe price for the accommodation and food is high, but this is typical both in the park, and in all the surrounding hotels in Rio Serrano. Konkashken lodge is an affordable option in Rio Serrano, and very close to the park gate, where you can watch the spectacular sunrise over the mountains.
Konkashken Lodge is a great place to stay, for anyone interested in an authentic park experience. Rustic, quiet and comfortable, this lodge is set in a beautiful location, beside a river, overlooking the mountains in and around Torres del Paine. Patrick and Carina were gracious hosts, along with staff Loe and others. Knowing Spanish is a huge asset, although Patrick can converse in English. Beds are comfortable, cabins are clean, with cozy comforter, fluffy towels, and plenty of storage space in the newer cabins. If needed, Patrick will help light the wood stove, and is always available to offer advice and to provide information about the area. Breakfast is simple but good (yogurt, drinks, toast, eggs, cakes and fruit). Dinner is provided for $40 per person, but you can also eat out at surrounding hotels. As long as it isn’t too windy, the wifi works great in all the cabins. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

BrazilThe heating is done by a furnace. It is a problem , because you have to wake up during the night to feed the furnace or your room will be very cold in the morning. The meal is too expensive (US$ 40 per person).
The room is cosy, the breakfast is good. The wifi is ok.

United States of AmericaEverything was great!
The location right outside the park is extremely convenient! The 'wagon cabin' worked perfectly for our family of four, and staff lit the wood stove every evening to keep us warm and cozy. The owner takes great care of the guests and was extremely helpful getting a lost item back to us in Punta Arenas (5 hours away) before our flight the next morning. They also have a sweet cat in the main lodge area that our kids loved. Highly recommend!

United States of AmericaThe only negative is you have to get up at night to stoke the fire because if you let it go out it gets very cold in the room but it’s not under the covers. They have a lot of warm covers for the bed.
The amazing scenery around the lodge and that it was close to the park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The little porch area outside was nice to sit and have some drinks and enjoy the views.

Ideal location for the park and good value for money compared to other accommodation on offer. Staff was so kind and helpful. Notified them in advance so they could accommodate us for an evening meal and they provided us with a pack lunch for the next day.

United States of AmericaThere could be more hooks in the bathroom. One spot in our cabin was very squeaky, but the rest was fine.
Location: just a short drive from the entrance of Torres del Paine Food: even though the meals were simple, they felt homemade. I felt like I got to experience more local food culture. Each meal was a 5-course meal: bread w/ a spread or dipping sauce, soup of the day, simple side salad, main dish, and a dessert. Make sure to let the host know when you'd like your dinner. They needed about half an hour to prep. You could also have them pack lunch or breakfast for to go but let them know the day before. The cost of the meal was about 80.000 CLP, which came up to about $45 USD/person for each meal. Since we only ate out, the prices here were quite comparable to the other hotel in the area we stayed at but didn't give us the same local feel as this place did. Host & staff: The hosts and staff were very friendly and tried their best to make our stay a comfortable one. I appreciated the owner's easy-going and friendly personality. Communicating with the staff was challenging, but that's true in most places in Chile. Knowing some Spanish really helps.

AustraliaDinners were a bit hit & miss but there are other options in Rio Serrano if you feel like spreading your wings. E.g. we had a decent pizza / burger from the bar menu at Hotel Rio Serrano. A ladder to the top bunks in the dorm room would have been helpful for my old bones.
Rio Serrano is just a lovely environment with great views over the river to Los Cuernos. The location is ideal for driving into the NP for day hikes, esp. in the Pudeto and Lago Grey areas. The Welcome Center for the Las Torres hike was about a 1hr 15min drive. We left after 6:30am and were on the trail by 8am no problem. Patrick was a great host and really helped us out by repairing a puncture. If he hadn't come to the rescue we would have needed to dash back to PN to get it sorted. Apparently punctures are common in TPD. We stayed 3 nights in a Bungalow, and 1 night in the 4 person dorm in the main building. Both were comfy. Wifi was surprisingly good. Lunch packs provided if needed. Friendly dogs & cat on site. Horses wandering everywhere. Very happy with our choice.

United States of AmericaMake sure your gas is topped off and you don’t run out with numerous visits around thr park. Plan your trip properly as there is no gas station.
The hosts, staff, location, unique rooming, food, etc. All of it was fantastic! It is a great and happy place to be. They are welcoming and in turn everyone there visiting is friendly and kind, eager to share details of their trip and support you on yours. I loved the spectacular views of the mountains and easy walk to the river as well.

United States of AmericaTruly, zero complaints. The shared kitchen is small, so if you're preparing your own dinner, you may need to coordinate. But that's more just a head's up.
The cabin was everything we had hoped and the hosts more than we could have ever expected. They had medicine when my husband got a cold, advice on everywhere to go visit, and so much passion and care. They even put together a special surprise when they found out we were celebrating our honemoon. It was a remarkable stay in an incredible place.

There are a lot of places to explore nearby and their dogs (pulga, mimi and carnival) and cat (Dull) are an essential part of the experience. Beautiful giant gentle creatures.
