Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel feels like a quiet sanctuary but is conveniently right in the centre of things. The offerings at breakfast, tea time and pre dinner wine were delicious. The whole team were so friendly and helpful and the general ambience of the place was special.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaThe only thing that I can mention is a bit of noise in the morning. One of the sources is out of the hotel’s control-the street dogs. It was tough to sleep-in when one dog would suddenly set-off a handful of others, usually around sunrise for 20 or 30 minutes continuously and otherwise sporadically each morning. The other source is the grounds keepers. We had a room that backed-up to the garden and there is a beautiful tree there that drops many of its small leaves over night, or at least it did in April while were there. The property is spotless and in an effort to keep it that way for guests when they wake, the crew is moving furniture and sweeping between 7:00- 7:30am. There is no A/C so we had our sliding door open to slow air in.. and unfortunately noise. Hard to complain really about a hard working staff but if you’re looking forward to sleeping in, may be worth considering a different room exposure. Having the immediate garden access and view is wonderful otherwise.
Quiet, clean, thoughtful details such as tea times and wine tastings each day. The aesthetic blend seamlessly into the environment and was such a relaxing reprieve of the first and commotion of downtown San Pedro de Atacama. But the staff set this place apart and is what elevates this hotel to a 4-star status. Accommodating, friendly and professional. Can’t say enough good things about them all, especially the concierges.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is centrally located in San Pedro de Atacama. It is half a block to the main intersection and has tons of restaurants within a minute or two of walking. Their breakfast had hot made to order omlettes and fresh juices. We had an early morning excursion (5am) and the staff had breakfast ready for us. Moises went out of his way to help us and Luciana was amazing. The staff is very friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this hotel during your stay.

United States of AmericaI was concerned about the fumigation while we stayed there without advance notice and given respiratory problems.
El desayuno was excellent, lots of good choices and excellent service by the breakfast staff in making eggs. More generally, all the staff were very nice and I want to especially recognize the morning and late afternoon early evening reception staff. Both were excellent and extremely helpful.

AustraliaWe would have been happier with air-conditioning or having a room where we felt safe leaving a window open at night. All the rooms are located on the ground floor, and so we didn't want to leave the bedroom window open whilst we were sleeping. We noticed that some of the rooms had higher windows located in the bathrooms, which may well have given one the ventilation needed to cool the room down. So don't stay in room 21 if you want to open a window.
The staff are the highlight of this hotel. When I was struck down with altitude sickness, they were very helpful to my husband in advising him where the pharmacy was, giving me snacks, and keeping an eye on how I was feeling. The location is great, in the middle of town, on a quiet road only 50m from many bars and restaurants. Our room (21) was very hot (no air-conditioning, just a ceiling fan), and at times became unbearable, particularly if you're ill in bed recovering from dehydration, and sickness! The bathroom was also unbearably hot, with no natural ventilation, so not particularly pleasant to spend much time in. The hotel has a swimming pool and a small outdoor deck, which is very pleasant (especially when trying to escape the heat of the room), and the breakfast area and outdoor dining areas are also pleasant for the free afternoon tea and free wine tasting. We didn't really get the full benefit of the breakfast with the egg station as we were out on tours early each day, but the other breakfast items were quite basic, but perfectly adequate.
