Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThis hotel do not have AC, the room was very hot, can not imagine in summer heat how it would be. We opened the windows to sleep but the noises from the street, cars, ambulances was very loud. The hotel is on a very busy street.
The location right is by the train/metro/ bus station, the breakfast is really good and the staff is great.

AustraliaYes the rooms are small and the bed is against the wall but just a small 3 legged table or stool next to the open side of the bed for glasses, phone etc. Just a cheap metal or wood table from ( IKEA ) that the staff can easily move . I'm 5'2 and couldn't reach the ledge above the bed ,when in bed . Sadly the train noise in our room 266 for 5 nights was tiring. We always use eye masks and ear plugs and still heard the trains.
Love that the rooms are still decorated as originally for the train conductors. The lobby decor. Love the Scandi idea of room cleaning only when you want it . Great for the planet. Excellent location for getting around and eating in the Tivoli food hall across from the train station.

TurkeyFor those who are light sleepers, the sound of the trains arriving and leaving the Central Station were audible. For me, this was not an issue due to the fact that I sleep like a corpse.
The location of the hotel is uncomparable to other hotels I have stayed in Copenhagen. It is next to the Central Station where you can reach every part of the city. The rooms are spacious for 2 people, and the beds and pillows are cosy. The room was clean and there more enough storage places in the room. Plus, people in the reception were always greeting us with a big smile and responded our needs with care (in contrary to the stereotype that the Northerners are both friendly people).

CyprusThey wanted to charge early check in for 1.5 hours. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, as they advertised, but they do provide coffee and tea free of charge at the lobby.

Canada- the room wasn’t as nice as it looked in the photos at all. A lot older and smaller than you might be expecting. (Was upgraded to a bigger and nicer room halfway through though!) Even though the building is showing it’s age in many rooms, it’s also quite a historic building with a cool background.
- Location is perfect ! - Staff were quite friendly, available 24/7 and really went out of their way to help

Excellent location 50 metres from main railway station and thus very good connections everywhere. The hotel is old/old fashion with a certain charm-factor. Good value for being central Copenhagen.

United States of AmericaLuckily had a shower with the glass , rather than a tub with no shower curtain. But still had to be careful so water doesn't splash all over the floor. This is a european thing. I could see where people complain about hearing train noise but it was minor for me. No need for ear plugs, though front desk provides a pair if needed.
Right next to Central Station! Bed was ok. Blankets were warm. Plenty of options for breakfast. Eggs, sausage, breads, yogurt, cheeses, cold cuts...loved the ginger shots + smoothies +juice selection.
