Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe shower fluctuated in temperature a lot anytime we used it, and room came with no ironing board so you have to go to the luggage room and use one in the corner that doesn't work very well.
Clean and comfortable beds with a lovely view, good location about 5-10mins from a bus stop to take you anywhere, or just rent a bike! Very easy as all flat. Right next to Meatpacking District, would recommend to go for drinks in the evening.

Canada(Standard Room) No hospitality slippers; no bath mat; no diverse options for vegetarian breakfast (focus on sliced meats); this Wake Up Copenhagen location is at least 1 km walk from any decent restaurant or social centre (hence the quiet ambience!)...
24-hour service; attentive staff with positive attitudes; bright; clean; quiet; plenty of electrical outlets around the room (re: for re-charging phones); immediate hot water;

FinlandThe hotel seemed to be far from the center, but the main train station was only about a 10-minute brisk walk away. The railway station had good connections everywhere. The shower room was really small and its walls were translucent, so sharing the room with someone other than a loved one would have felt awkward.
We were served at the reception by a very friendly and helpful man. Check-in was already possible before 9 o'clock in the morning and we were able to check out in the evening instead of 11 o'clock. We upgraded the room to the upper floors and it definitely paid off. The room was perfectly big enough for two and the view from the window was great. The room was very quiet. The breakfast room was large and bright and the selection very sufficient. Well worth the money.

United KingdomIt is quite basic, towels were a bit thin and only one pillow. The breakfast was decent but there wasn't much variety and one morning the queues were horrendous. I would have liked a kettle in the room but these are minor niggles.
Very reasonably priced hotel 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Clean comfortable room. Staff were very friendly. I especially liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom!

BulgariaI wish there was a kettle and tea/coffee packages in the room, but other than that everything was great.
The hotel is very comfortable for people traveling for work and attending the nearby conference centre. It is clean, functional and the staff is friendly.

AustraliaThe rooms are quite cramped, but it really doesn't matter if you're out seeing the city and just sleeping there
Great location and had all the basics - if you need to be close to the station, it's perfect

United KingdomTake an eyemask as the blinds in the window don't blackout the early sunrise in Copenhagen. Also, I know I'm a single traveller but 1 very lumpy pillow in a double bed is a bit mean!
Really lovely, welcoming staff. Lobby area is very lovely and chilled to relax and meet friends in.

PolandWe spent three days there and not once was the room cleaned, garbage not taken away, toilet paper not replenished. You have to pay extra for everything, even the courtesy of printing out one page of the boarding pass on the day of departure. The price is not adequate for the service, it is definitely better to fly to a warmer and cheaper place in Europe.
Pleasant decor of the main hall near the reception and the room itself. Good localization. Tasty breakfasts. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so you can always buy something. Copenhagen is a beautiful city. Great place for a city break. Tasty breakfasts are definitely a plus in this hotel.

IrelandThe room was a little small, which we expected but if you aren't prepared for it, it might be disappointing.
We liked the location, we went back and forth to Malmo during our stay and It was just a short walk from Copenhagen Central Train Station, which was great. We liked the snack bar at reception for late night munchies :) The baggage storage facilities was also very handy and any staff we encountered during our stay were very pleasant and helpful. The proximity to the train station means you can hear trains at intervals through the day night, I personally didn't mind this and found it relaxing to listen to.

UkraineThe room is extremely small and the bathroom is tiny. The Internet connection is poor and unreliable. You need to ask upfront for the cleaning service.
