The shower kept vacillating between cold and hot - scalding hot. It wouldn't stay stable. There were also tiny bugs that tried to get in our groceries and I learned later these bugs are ubiquitous to the Galapagos. We solved it by putting all our food in the refrigerator.

This was a perfect location - close to Darwin Center, shopping, grocery store, restaurants, and the waterfront. The room balcony had a view of the bay.and the terrace up the roof was an added bonus. The room was very clean and spacious

The water pressure of the shower was our only complaint everything else was great.

our only comment was the sleeper sofa was not "really" a sleeper sofa. Also be aware there is no elevator, so stairs are required to access the apartment. Connie and her husband were kind enough to assist us with our luggage, which we very much appreciated!

Connie was wonderful to work with, and very responsive. The apartment was immaculate and well located, within walking distance to the Ferry and many restaurants. Lovely view from the balcony and most importantly, the beds were very comfortable!

The shower hot and cold water pressure goes up and down, causing the water to either get too hot or not hot enough, but I think this may be an island thing as it also happened in my stay in San Cristobal.

Second floor apartment located across from the ferry dock in Puerto Ayora. Good value for family of 4. Excellent location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Modern apartment is large and quiet with a functional kitchen, living area and large bedroom with 2 queens. Plenty of closet space, Wifi worked fine, A/C in bedroom.

The shower is difficult to regulate. The water gets very hot and then a bit cool. It definitely was not enough for us the worry about, but if I had to mention something that could be improved, that is the only thing.

Everything was perfect! The location is the best in town! You can walk to the ferry (and purchase ferry tickets right next door), grocery stores, restaurants, piers, beaches, Charles Darwin Research Center or just about anywhere really. Conni, her nephew and all the staff were so incredible! The apartment was immaculate and the staff fully clean everything, everyday. I came back to grab something one day and they were mopping under the beds!! The apartment always smelled fresh and they replaced all bedding and towels every day. They provide a 5 gallon bottle of drinking water and replace it whenever needed so you never run out. The apartment is big and spacious, with a great room open to the kitchen and dining area, a bathroom and a large bedroom with 2 king size beds. The air conditioning units work amazingly and cool the entire apartment perfectly. We were there at the end of June and it gets very hot and it’s humid, so a cool apartment was very nice. We really felt this apartment was the best in town. There is also a large rooftop patio that over looks the entire bay! We also had zero issue with internet! We are a family of 4 with kids in social media and no problems at all. Conni also provided the name/number if a great doctor in town when we had an injury that needed to be looked at. Thank you, Conni and every one at the Bay View House…you guys made our trip to Santa Cruz so wonderful!

Our stay at the BayView house was short but wonderful. Connie was easy to communicate with prior to our arrival and met us the apartment to show us around and give us our keys. The apartment is lovely with a large common area including a big kitchen (which we did not use but looked to be well appointed), a nice sitting area and a large bedroom. The location is IDEAL. Very close to the port and a lot of good restaurants. Connie is a lovely host and the facility offers beach towels and laundry service for a small fee. I wish we could have stayed there longer.

i had no complaints, but it is important to note the open floor-plan: there is no door between the bed room and the living room with the second bed.

The only downside of our stay was also due to the location of the property. It was conveniently located for shopping and tours, but on Friday and Saturday night that area of Puerta Ayora is party time central. Super loud party time till like 2 am.

Our apartment was super clean and kept that way every day. The hosts went out of their way to help us with anything we needed, and the location offered easy access to shopping, great restaurants, and tour booking agencies.

owner Conni and her husband met us upon arrival. even with our timing being earlier than posted check-in, there was no issue with accessing our apartment. they both helped us move our bags upstairs. the superior apartment seemed new or newly remodeled and faced a courtyard rather than the street. very quiet. clean and spacious-we wanted as much space as possible-with all the amenities you could need to for a long stay. two queens, AC, tv, and good storage in the bedroom. 2 sofas in sitting area and lovely granite & tile kitchen area with dining table. fresh drinking water provided. also some drinks and snacks available (at an extra cost). really wish we had made it to the rooftop terrace. only small concerns for us were the mattresses being very firm (we found this everywhere we stayed) and one of the sofas being difficult comfort wise because it was very soft. mostly our issue. we also had difficulty with getting the shower to a consistent temp. Conni was the most helpful host we had during our entire islands visit. great info on how the apartment worked. plus she also hooked us up with a travel service-Marcia at Entremares Travel-who was a god send on booking tours and ferry tickets. Conni also provides laundry service and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our clothes were returned. she even was helpful enough to do a second load after we returned from a day of beach and snorkel time so we needn't worry about packing wet clothes. daily cleaning and bed make up were very pleasant surprises also. i can't recommend Bayview Apts more. i would jump on a chance to stay here if you are visiting the island Tip-our taxi driver was unfamiliar with the location of the apartments on arrival. once we located the small wall sign and the brown door we could navigate ok. we found an easy way to direct taxi drivers to locate was to tell them you wanted to go to the LATAM airline office which they all seemed to know.
