How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wish Breakfast menu would change up a bit every other day.
Great location. Super helpful staff. Nice bath tub which was unexpected but so enjoyable especially after long day of walking. Nice breakfast but wish they would change up a bit every other day or so for guest who stays more than 2 days.

The location was convenient to a main street but a little away from the coast and from the train station for us. But the room was great and we had a lovely stay.
It was a great little hotel on a sweet little street. Breakfast included was good - it was very busy but good.

Room size. The room is quite small. The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can hear any noise. Neighbors who forget or don't take into account that they are in the hotel and can disturb when they talk late at night.
Varied breakfast. The location is close to the train station, means of public transport so that I had easy access to the train to visit the cities in the area every day.

The hotel has 2 parts: one with elevator, one without.. I was stay in that part without elevator, but anyway, more sport-more Healthy!😅
It was very Clean, the breakfast was very freshly! The personal was friendly!

Not much to dislike. If I had to be critical I’d say maybe some more hot breakfast options would be a plus.
The staff were very friendly. They were very patient with the amount of times I had to put the bike in the storage room. Great location near the tram station so it’s easy getting to and from the airport.

Dates rooms with old carpets however not all the rooms have carpets but ours did.
The location is fantastic, right in the new centre and only about 10-15 min walk to the old town and sea front. Breakfast is basic but all you need. Beds hard and quite small (double) but comfortable enough.

In one of our rooms the shower was broken and it took a few days to fix. The doors are thin so late at night we often heard doors slamming and other guests talking loudly outside our room. The facilities seem to be a bit of a lottery as to what you get (e.g. we booked 3 rooms, one had a fridge but the other two didn't).
Good selection for breakfast, rooms were basic but had everything we needed, location is a 2 min walk to the closest tram stop, and a 10-15 min walk to the train station. Plenty of food options nearby. Overall a reasonably priced choice for a hotel for visiting Nice/Monaco

All was great
The staff are exceptional and did everything to make our stay the best it could be. We flew in early morning and they had a room available- not making us wait to get into our room like most places. Location is excellent. An easy walk to the beach and restaurants right next door.

The Hotel was well located, the rooms clean and comfy, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really delicious and healthy (many fruits, cheese, eggs...). The Hotel staff arranged for us many excursions with guide, so we could visit Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, Vences and many other places around Nice. We highly recommend it!

No English Breakfast tea bags in room. Breakfast area very noisy with staff banging plates, so the second morning l sat in other area. Not much of a view from window.

There were some issues with the facilities including a broken shower head and difficulty flushing the toilet. The Wi-Fi was also quite slow and could not stream videos on it.
The location was great, just off the main shopping street and very close to the tram stops, and the room was nice.

The breakfast room was very busy but a separate room was made available for 2nd and 3rd day, so no problem.
Hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered great choice of food for all tastes. Hotel was located near major shopping area. Breakfast staff worked so hard.
