Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaIt's in the middle of nature, so restaurants and bars are quite a drive. Rather bring your own Picknick
Beautiful house, great breakfast and many animals. Perfect for a retreat. We only stayed for a night but would like to come again for longer

SpainReally lovely cottage house, with very spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing: pancakes, own-backed bread, and really nice coffee. The landlord is very friendly and speaks many languages, which makes it easier to communicate. She provided us with many suggestions on things to do and visit. The place is great for kids as there are no roads or streets nearby, just a lot of green space and trees. They also have some goats, rabbits and few other animals, and our kids loved it.

United KingdomStaying at L’Enquenoiulle is already a dream I wish I could return to. I left a week ago, having spent a week there under the incredible hospitality of Mette, who runs the stunning old house alongside two wonderful dogs, Lila and namely Pippa, a dachshund relative who sat on my knee every day and made me happy. The comfiest bed and most delightful room with splendid bathroom and spectacular views from my window. It would be very tough not to feel happy at L’Enquenoiulle, among those geese, rabbits, chickens, to name but a few of the animals, by a sweet lake, overlooking the Pyrenees on the horizon. It’s hard writing a review for a stay so flooded with warmth and cherished moments. Hard to pick the memories and moments as there are so many, like a feast. I would like to thank Mette for being so kind. The house is remote, isolated amongst golden fields and hardy farms - a good spot to walk around, and a great area from which to access the beautiful region. I will be staying again, no doubt about it. On a six week tour of Spain and France, this was the most sublime place I stayed to by light years. It’s surely a thing of fiction, I have to question my mind as to whether I’ve actually been deluded, as it is so beautiful and almost too magical to comprehend.

United KingdomI liked everything about my stay at L'Enquenoiulle Basse.
The host of L'Enquenoiulle Basse could not have been more helpful and did everything she could to ensure I had a great stay. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice followed by an excellent cup of coffee. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

AndorraNo kitchen facilities bar a microwave and fridge making it not a viable stay over option more than 1-2 nights which is a shame. The bbq doesn’t come prepared either so come prepared with both food and way around cooking. The pool wasn’t open in June, would be handy to publish the opening dates of said pool. I recieved a rude message from owner post publishing a 8/10 review I Therefore drop my review to minimal. Completely unnecessary and has made sure we will never return again.
Lovely tranquil b&b that’s well priced. Not close to any shops or amenities but perfect if you want to be in the middle of nature. Bed was very comfortable. Garden is lovely to sit out in. Breakfast fresh and ecological. Adorable animals to pet all over the property.
