It's only personal choice, but our bed was too soft for us.

An amazing hotel set in an exceptional location. All the staff were cheerful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was everything you could want and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The views were breathtaking.

Room was clean, and comfortable. It was silent after 9pm, and I slept like a baby. I ventured for the pie for my meal… it was fantastic. Breakfast was great too.. staff were helpful and diligent.. thank you all.

They were in the middle of restaffing and it was a bit chaotic ordering food and getting somebody to open up the bike storage.

What an awesome place in amazing location. Great views over the sea, bar and nice food.

Nothing to complain about, all good.

The Manor House is situated in a very quiet but extremely beautiful hamlet on the coast and we really enjoyed our overnight stay there. Our room was large and nicely furnished with views of the coast line. All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the evening in the hotel. Food was good and service efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good with an extensive breakfast menu. The location is beautiful and the hotel grounds are relaxing, gardens well maintained and with stunning views all around.

Suspect the Maintenance Team could look at each room to note minor items needing repair.

Our room and what we saw of the communal areas such as carpeted stairs and passages, were a little tired,/ shabby. A feature wall in the bedroom was a garish, badly painted purple

We enjoyed the tranquility and the location. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We used The Manor House as a base to support my husband and daughter to complete the Jurassic Coast 100k Ultra marathon, which meant we were under some time constraints for meals and leaving and entering the property, which were all met without any issues. Would love to return under more relaxed circumstances.

The stairs down to restaurant a little challenging but then it is an old building and part of its character.

Very comfortable one night stay in great location. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the friendly staff were attentive and efficient throughout our stay. Cooked breakfast was good with plenty of options.

Only a personal preference as I have a bad knee so a ground floor room have suited me.

Sadly the coffee was too weak and watery for my taste. The food in the restaurant was good but I found my crab pasta a little too salty.

The location is beautiful, very quiet and close to the sea. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with sea views and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices available.

Very steep stone staircase to bar and dinner area, but nevertheless it is quirky and didn’t spoil our experience.

Very well organised and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Really liked the little touches such as leaving classic fm playing in the room before returning after day out. Beds are super comfortable too.

Wish there had been a few more vegan options for dinner, and non dairy milk for teas and coffees.

Lovely room, nice to see the beach from our window. Comfortable beds and good breakfast options. Lovely location and would be quite magic in warmer months to sit outside. Beautiful building and nice walks in area. Good value for bed and breakfast and all staff quite friendly and helpful.

There are no ground-floor rooms and the hotel is run from the cellar bar, so it involves a lot of steep stairs, which is a bit tricky for elderly people ... but that's a little hard to resolve in a 16th century building. At least the staff tried to help by moving us from the second floor to the first floor.

Service was great - all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were great - breakfast cooked to order, so nice and fresh.

Duvet too hot. Don't need a 10.5 tog feather and down duvet in the spring.
