Villa Rose was closed. Confusing information before arrival as we were relocated to The Dolphin Hotel. Bathroom very small almost impossible to use. Window would not close so no security. Shower did not work. All reported but no action

Loved it that we was kept up all night by trunk people fighting and shouting outside the hotel...the police running up and down and constant arguments...kept us well entertained...only we got no sleep

There are no staff there so you have to get a keycode for your room and the front door which you don't get till the day. I was bombarded with texts and emails expressing their delight at me staying there, over a dozen in total I think. The bathroom might have been comfortable for a hobbit but not human beings unfortunately. No parking or advice for same.

The room was pleasant and sunny, it was quiet at night and reasonably convenient for town.

Kids had better mattresses and firmer pillows than us adults. How the adult room had been arranged had to climb over each other to get to the otherside room/bed. Could barely adjust the TV due to the aerial cable being short so soon as you moved the TV you'd lose all channels. Shower felt like you was gonna go fall through and couldn't close the shower door properly with out ripping it off the wall as it had been siliconed/mastic to the wall.

The fact that it states the building has daily cleaning but yet my son was sick on Friday night due to food poisoning and the sheets were not changed and we had to take our own rubbish to the bins ourself and buy our own toilet roll and tea sugar and milk that was suppose to be provided. Everytime we flushed the toilet water would come up out of the shower and leave loads of sand in it which we then had to clean out

I asked for a parking permit on the day I arrived and was told I had one after I gave my registration number to them on the last day I got a parking ticket so they hadn’t given me a permit and when I tried calling them to ask why I had received a parking fine when told I had a permit no one answered not impressed 😡

Towels was dirty on arrival and asked for clean towels only to be given more dirty towels and the sheets didn't fit the bed and the mattress didn't fix the bedbase and there was a bad smell from the stair Wells and it doesn't look like it does on the pictures on booking.com

Only 1 pillow each which was flat not worth having one pillow cases were not clean stains on them and the sheet no curtain on the window wallpaper coming off the wall

The shower tray didn't really drain, still had the same water in the bottom from the 1st time I used the shower, the toilet didn't flush very well which left a disgusting smell, just cosmetic things that could be done

After reading the reviews, I already was prepared, beds had clean bedding, tea and coffee provided and towels, however the bathroom was dirty, dents in the walls and the shower tray could do with a good scrub, it's a shame because some of it, is cosmetic and for a few quid could change an opinion, however for what we paid it was what it was!!!

Noise and the lack of staff to deal with any problems

Very loud residents that made it impossible to sleep .the mattress was filthy , room adequate . The biggest disappointment was that there is no staff to deal with any problems . The foreigners in the next room needed dealing with and nothing was forthcoming . Mattress protectors and fitted sheets would be an improvement .ripped dirty net curtains in the room . It's a tired venue that is in dire need in a lick of paint . It's a shame because the location is great .I'm glad to be home to get a good night's sleep . All reviews are around about the same and much improvement is required .the venue has so much potential and it's a shame .even small details like bedside lights not working

The room.was tatty the balcony doors did not lock and they did not put any towels or a spoon on room.the staff were not in the building but I called up and they did put a spoon and towels in the ro.but were never able to fox the WiFi. I was not happy about balcony doors as I have a 3 year old so I had to pit a chair in front of them to make sure she didn't gey out

They staff did come back and fox some issues and dis call me back
