Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandI liked everything. Be aware that you need to follow the signs to the hotel! GPS wants to bring you to the narrow alleys of Kalamaki.
Rustic hotel in an old stone village, full of feeling! Everything was just perfect. The room, decoration, pool area, views, staff, breakfast and the hall where it was served. I wish to return!

IsraelThere are many steps to the room (Carrying our luggage to the room was hard... ) Pool opening hours are limited The electrical equipment in the room was old and semi functional (Kettle that doesn't stop, broken electric stove) The bathroom was small, pressure was low and taking a shower in that room was almost impossible Beds weren't comfortable
We got a nice room with a balcony that had an amazing view

GreeceA little warning for those thinking of bringing dogs to this pet friendly location. There is a German shepherd dog on the premises that took a dislike to our dog who was on her lead. He is fine with people though .
Spectacular location up in the hills overlooking the Aegean in a very tranquil and traditional village. Family run small hotel and the buildings are charming stone clad and beautifully renovated. 20 minutes by car from a lovely beach at Kala Nera which boasts many tavernas and coffee houses which also offer sun beds. The hotel is extremely well positioned as a base to explore this area of Greece and it’s stunning coastline.

United KingdomIf I was being really picky, I would say the bathroom was small.
We chose the hotel as it was one of very few with a pool in the region. The pool was great. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic. Our apartment and balcony were large and the views were lovely.

RomaniaMaybe it would have been nicer if the water in the pool was warmer. But that didn't stop us from taking a few good baths. I added it here just so I wouldn't leave this empty :) But really, nothing to complain at all.
Fantastic location, the scenery is stunning. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The room was large, bright, with a large terrace from where you can have a wonderful view to the sea. The breakfast does not have many options, but still very good. And, for the last morning when we left (very early, before breakfast was served), the hosts prepared some packed breakfast for us - free of charge! And last but not least, the overall quality/price ratio was excellent.

United KingdomThe room was certainly overpriced. It also felt too crowded for a family of 4, as they squeezed in a squeaky sofa bed to accommodate the 2nd child. We were charged an additional 10 EUR for the extra bed on arrival (though they offered to waive). Frequent travelers would agree that it feels like a 3-star room with a 5-star view, which in the end is what you pay for. I would highly recommend the room at a rate around the 100 EUR mark but unfortunately not at 140 EUR we ended up paying.
The room was very clean and tidy. Very spacious balcony with an amazing view of the Aegean sea. Wi-fi worked very well and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Functioning bar also available. The owner welcomed us and was very friendly. Nicely located in the village and very close to a magnificent beach.

United KingdomThe shower head did not work so it made for quite a tricky shower in a small space. There is only 2 sun loungers that are not under cover so you can't guarantee you will get a space to lie and relax by the pool. There was no mosquito cover in the small window in the front door so it meant there was limited fresh air in the evening. It is relatively well signed but not a drive for the faint hearted!
The views from the hotel are outstanding and a short walk into the market square is well worth it for some local, home cooked food and wine with an incredible sunset. The bedroom was clean and had everything you needed.

RomaniaBeautiful place, marvelous people. This is exactly what you find in Petradi hotel, a place like no other in Greece, where expectation are always high. Located in a small village near Mount Pelion, the hotel is a hidden gem of the Magnesia region. The whole area around the Pagasitikos golf is a land of myth and history, here was the land of Chiron centaurus whose apprentice was Achilles and Hercules. Petradi hotel is located in Kalamachi, a traditional village scattered on the slopes of the steep mountain tops, in a charming green region in the vicinity of the unreal blue-turquoise see. The local beach is one of the best in Greece for the traveler who loves solitude. This pebble beach located in a small Harbour, has a natural pool formed by the limestone floor submerged in the open sea. Small fishes and krils populate this natural wonder which is 5 minutes away from the Petradi hotel. The hotel itself is a man made wonder of Greece. The complex with 3 traditional style buildings and a restaurant is featuring a nice pool and a lovely terrace with a view over the picturesque harbour. Nice rooms, some of them with kitchen (studio apartments), decorated in traditional style, offer everything you may need to have a confortabile staying. Good wifi all-over the property, discreet music in the pool area and in the terrace - always good instrumental Greek traditional music, at low level - lights in the pool water, good quality furniture, this hotel has all comfort you need during your holiday. Breakfast is traditional Greek, with fresh baked pastries and authentic Greek youghurt. People are friendly in a way you feel like home or you know them since very long time and come back to visit old friends. Superlative experience, don't miss this high class hotel if you visit Greece.
