The shower did not have warm water. The place did not have mirror in the bathroom and did not have microwave.

In our apartment there was no stove, so you have to either eat cold or get creative with the water cooker ;-) For our short-term stay totally sufficient though. The Aircons could be more powerful.

Wifi is not strong enough, if you need to work or something, it is a bit tricky.

It is in a remote location which is just a few mins drive from the center. Very quite and nice place. You can watch the sky and hear the chirping sound at night. Very peaceful and clean.

1) the communication of Athena office : it’s only the day before our arrival that we have been informed that Summer Résidence is far from all and that we need a car (we had a scooter but impossible to bring the suitcase). 2) the price (20€) that the office asked to pick up our suitcases to go back to Andama (only 8,9km) at the end of our stay. The transfer was free on arrival, but 20€ for 8,9km to return is too expensive. 3) our room was supposes to have a sea wiew, but the view was first the wall to the other house close to our room.

Michèle and the staf at Summer residence (not at the office) very kind. It was quiet, but it could have been very noisy if the family Junior House (very very close to the room we had) was occupied by a family with children.

It was on the smaller side. Difficult to reach without car.No signal in the rooms.

It was value for money. In a remote area which was very peaceful. From the central terrace you could have a decent sea view. There was cleaning service everyday. The room was nicely decorated.

The accommodation didn't have phone signal and the wifi connection was very poor. While it was communicated to us 1 day before we actually travelled there, I wish I'd known this before booking as I had to study and needed strong internet connection. Plus, there was no reception available in the evening, which led to an uncomfortable situation with other guests knocking at our door around midnight. We had agreed to be picked up and transferred to the accommodation at a specific time but had to wait almost an hour to actually get there because there was only one driver at that time.

Great value for money and good option if you just want to enjoy a relaxed holiday by the beach. The check in process was easy and the owner was responsive and helpful. Acted on feedback quite fast. Also liked the complementary options that the travel agency offered (e.g. car rental, boat tours etc.) - very convenient.

Mattress - particularly on the double bed - was very hard and we had to put the cushions from the lounger on as a "topper" to make is useable. But that's purely personal preference, and appreciate others may appreciate a mattress that firm. The air-con in the main bedroom wasn't working, although it was in the second bedroom. It was reported more than once during the stay, but it was never fixed. Cleaning in the first week was excellent, with clean towels every couple of days. In the second week though it was a different cleaner, who didn't change the towels at any point during. Wi-fi only seemed to work when sat on the balcony, not inside the property.

Overall, I would say our "moans" are no more than minor niggles. Others may be more scathing of the negatives I mention, but that would be very unfair for the price and should not put you off considering booking here too. If you can't cope with minor issues, then pay a hell of a lot more to stay somewhere else instead! We are already talking about booking to go back to Milos next year and will be looking to stay here again if it's available for our dates - which should be the main "take-away" from the feedback being given. First of all, the people at Athena Travel, who manage the property, were excellent, and a pleasure to deal with. They were so helpful prior to our arrival, regularly in contact via the booking.com chat function, and responded promptly to any questions about the island, general facilities and information about the surroundings, etc. They were kind enough to meet my son (travelling alone for the first time) at the airport, took him into Adamas to the supermarket while the property was being prepared as he arrived early morning, and then took him to the property when it was ready. When my wife arrived a couple of days later, they met her at the airport with the car they'd arranged for us to hire. The property itself was lovely - very "quaint", but had everything it needed. The surrounding area may be a little remote for anyone without some form of transport, but for our trip it was exactly where it needed to be. The best part of it being that it was wonderfully quiet at night and had great views of the stars. There are some nice fish restaurants within walking distance, but it's only a short drive to Adamas for a whole range of restaurants and shopping, as well as some beautiful boats moored in the harbour.

The staff of the travel agency were super nice and helpful, they gave us a free ride to the property since it was a bit far. You definitely need a car in this island.

The receptionist is so lovely and a very good advisor! The place is so peaceful and quiet. The taverna next to the hotel is also very good and the personal very nice. The price!

The bungalow was really dirty and ants were in the bed and over the kitchen. We advised Athena Service (residence managers) about these problems at check in (before unpacking lagguages) but they did not solved them. Also contacting them through Booking they did not give us a real solution (they proposed a rembursement only if we would immediately leave the room - knowing that there were no alternatives in Milos in that moment). Insufficiently equipped kitchenette (there was only a kettle, a toaster and a really noisy refrigerator) and bathroom.

The shared garden and the view is really nice. Some beautiful beaches are near the residence.

1) no mobile signal 2) you have to rent a vehicle 3) no restaurants or markets around 4) the AC in the living room was broken, so the banglow was hot, no action taken by the staff when i reported it, they told me that they sent for the spare part and that it will arrive in a couple of days, and they advise to open the room AC and keep the door open !!!! And that i wont be sleeping in the living room!! Plus the AC are old so barley cooling the room. 5)i request a late check out but even with the incident that happen they still refused 6) No TV 7) for the price i did not feel satisfied with the accommodation but it was my first time in milos.

The bathroom lights didn’t work, also the shower wasn’t always warm, so I unfortunately had a few cold showers. There is also no place to put the shower head so you need to hold it. The duvet/blanket is a cheap polyester which bough down the level of luxury. The first two days there was stuff and workers everywhere from early morning to late night as they were renovating one of the units. This made it a little unpleasant as I felt we needed to keep the door closed and refrain from using the now cluttered but usually lovely outdoor space.

The view was lovely as were the gardens. The room was also refurbished and nicely styled. The days when they weren’t renovating, the outdoor area was lovely and beautifully kept. The woman at Athena was lovely and helpful.

The only downside was the lack of connectivity at first. There's WiFi on premise, but not in the room I had, so I needed to be on the terrace to be connected. Same with the mobile signal, it was non-existent while on the property, but was better further up or down the road. In fairness it did say this in the booking, I just didn't notice at first.

The location was great, it's isolated and quiet, but with a beach quite close by for ultimate relaxation.

They have bad rating on internet but did not know it was this terrible. Literally I had to sit by the reception which was far from my room to be able to have internet because in addition there isn’t any phone signal so I couldn’t use my mobile data either. In addition to the bad internet the 2 men that were in the reception 1 of them was always outside watching videos out loud all day long so basically the rest of the people in the property had really low reception of this internet. My room was not well revised or cleaned, I found somebody’s underwear in the drawer next to the bed. I can understand when things like this are found hidden under a corner of the bed, but this was literally the drawer next to my bed. The drawers by the closet were broken as well. The light just outside the entrance door was not working, so at night we had to use our phone light to be able to see and insert the key and get in. Our thing to put our clothes to dry was broken as well. I was very disappointed with this place.

I liked that is was quiet and that you could see the beach from the property.
