Being an old building there is no lift and noise carries. Not a problem for us but might be for some

Old building with character and a sense of grandeur. That does mean creaking floorboards and all the other disadvantages of an old building but that's just part of the character. There was still good WiFi, tv, fridge etc all the amenities you need, and the breakfast was super., even the coffee. We also stayed, half board so were given coupons to eat at a restaurant / pub and that was a real treat; I have never eaten so much, especially the sweet. Well worth booking half board. Another thing, and the reason we chose this hotel, is that it is very dog friendly (we took our dog). The grounds inside are lovely and well kept and there is a terrace, but it was raining while we were there. The staff were very helpful., even when I took the dog out at 4am. Parking was right outside the hotel. A very pleasant stay

You can feel a little bit of a smell inside the hotel, maybe because the hotel is established in an old building; the noise the stairs made.

The location was good, nearby the city center, The hotel offers a basic breakfast, ok but basic. The room was clean but basic, the hotel need a renovation overall, maybe new furniture needed (the stairs make noise).

As this is a historic building, there are no elevators, my daughters call it "the hotel with the many stairs". No shades to block out light, the room is bright as the sun comes up.

Excellent location in the city centre, easy to access on foot from the tram and bus station, near the river, shops, restaurants. While still quiet at night and rooms looking inside are away from car traffic. Breakfast is simple and effective, fresh bakery. We stay in this hotel in Gyor if we can. The wifi had good signal in our room.

After our long walk, we plan to take a rest in the room but unfortunately the aircon is centralized and had a problem the time of our stay.

First of all we received a room we didn’t expected to have. Apparently the Junior Suite requires additional remarks while booking If you want room with internal gallery and still it’s up to rooms’ availability of what you get. Room was very simple and far from cozy. Same for breakfast, simple but in sufficient quantity.

The place (especially inside our room) felt a little run down. Many items in the room needed repair. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable, and the bed squeaked. There is no elevator. It was difficult to carry up the luggage.

The location was excellent. The hotel room (suite) was very spacious and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was adequate, but the coffee machine did not work well on the second day of our stay.

I didn't like that the hotel parking was paid and parking on the street was free till 08:00. The receptionist didn't know how much the street parking costs and how it can be paid. If you are staying for the night and leaving in the morning it doesn't make much sense to pay for a whole day parking in the hotel.

I liked that there is a breakfast option. The hotel itself was also quite nice.

This is a relatively old establishment, but the facilities are very good and represents excellent value for money. The location was excellent and we could comfortably stroll around the Old Town to visit Christmas Market stalls and the like. Free parking was available on the street at the hotel entrance. We were warmly welcomed by Peter at Reception and promptly shown to our first floor rooms. The rooms are functional and quiet at night. The beds were decent enough and we had a good night's rest. Breakfast was good and offered a fair variety of options.
