IndiaWas extremely shocked to know that the taxes on my stay were miscalculated. They were more than what Booking. Com had informed me. Generally the guests just give/ pay blindly. Had I not been in the know, I would also have paid more. This is not expected from the hotel and not acceptable.
Some of the staff tried their best to improve my stay - Sumit and Soumendra from the Front Office, Chef Ummar Farooq from the Kitchen, Prasanjit and Dharmendra from Housekeeping, and Girish at the restaurant. At one occasion the food prepared under the direction of Chef Ummar was delicious.

IndiaOnly two things we didn't like. 1. We requested for a room with nice view on upper floor, but the guy named Harsh at the reception provided us the room with NO view and in the lowest floor. This was very disappointing. 2. They did not provide packaged mineral water. We are allergic to local water which got filtered by their machine, so we had to buy and carry the mineral water bottles all the days throughout our stay.
We liked the hospitality, ambience and food. Room was properly equipped with modern amenities, bed was quite comfortable, smart TV was properly working...so everything was nice. We would like to thank the chef and all cooking stuffs for their healthy & tasty food preparation. There was a very good variety in both breakfast and dinner buffet each day. House keeping and all the other stuff were very cordial and welcoming.

AustraliaCoffee - horrible. I ordered two cups of coffee in the restaurant downstairs. Perhaps the worst coffee I have ever had. It is a five start hotel. I would expect them to have the right brew. I felt that they mixed Rs. 5 Sunrise coffee sachet.
Breakfast was very good. I like the south Indian selections. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. My flight was in the evening. They allowed me a late checkout.

NetherlandsThe hotel was wheelchair accessible, but there was no stool/chair in the shower. We asked the staff if they could arrange it, and they said multiple times that they would, but they did not. Swimming pool was smaller than it seemed on the pictures and not super clean.
Comfortable room and beds. Food was very nice. Lots of options for breakfast and also many options on the menu for lunch/dinner. We liked the more sustainable choices (e.g. glass bottles with filtered water, less disposable items in the room and restaurant). Staff was friendly.

SwedenThe rooms was a lite dated, i.e things needed to be fixed, like the badroom mirror was not secured to the ceiling and it was wobbly, that it could have fallen on someone. The curtains, carpets and the soffa were dirty and need a cleaning. The pool area needs to be more clean, there was mold under the table etc. Small things make a big impression, specially when claiming to be a 5-star hotel.
I liked the staff, everyone was very attentive and helpful and made sure our needs were meet.

GermanyCheck-out took too long. I shared the company address for the invoice upfront by mail, but they didn't save it. I shared it again upon check-in, but again it was not saved/available when I checked out. So I jad zo share it a third time... No big issue and didn't impact my positive overall impression, but should be improved.
Room, service and food were excellent. Good sports room. The breakfast was great and in addition to Indian meals there were more than enough European style choices available. Last time I stood in the ITC Gardenia hotel nearby, which was almost triple the price of the Welcomhotel. The Welcomhotel is very similar and is in my opinion the much better choice in terms of value for money. A positive surprise was, that two laundry items per night were offered for free. When I booked my sray via bookinhg.com there was only very little extra cost for the half-board package, which I totally recommend to invest. Each room has an iron, which is great for business trips.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel's breakfast lacked variety, primarily featuring Indian cuisine. For foreigners like us, unable to consume Indian food, the breakfast options were limited. The room offered all the comforts, yet the only issue was the delayed heating of water in the bathroom.
Overall, the hotel is excellent—clean and secure. The staff is exceptionally kind and friendly, particularly Mr. Sumit Gupta & Mr. Kanishk at the reception, who were very nice and helpful. Thank you for your kind assistance. The room offered all the comforts . The location of the hotel was also good. it was close to church street and MG road that which included shopping and restaurants.
