The apartment could have been made more comfortable with some cushions on the sofa it was very uncomfortable to sit on and more pillows on the beds there was only one small each. There was no terrace as advertised which was a shame. There was lots of fluff on the floors which would indicate the poor cleaning. We cleaned the bathroom ourselves the tap on the sink was broken and we had to use this without the handle. Small touches would have been nice some milk on arrival. We enjoyed our stay in Venice

Some crockery and utensils in the kitchen were dirty, not washed up well.

Bathroom was great; shower powerful, heated towel rail was lovely. Basic toiletries provided too. Also a few food/drink items were left e.g. tea, coffee. Kitchen cleaning products also provided.

If you hadn't been there before it would have been useful to have someone meet you to tell you about the water-heater, cooker and the balcony. We had a very nice host the first time we stayed here so were familiar with how things worked.

The apartment was spotless and in a very quiet area ( but we knew that from our previous visit in Oct 2019). It had everything you'd need to make it a nice place to stay and the bedrooms and dining /sitting room was huge. We were only a couple but it is definitely big enough for a couple + 2 young kids - there is a large sofabed in the sitting area.

do not expect to be able to cook complex dishes as there are few knives, plates, cooking instruments in general. oven did not function when we were there.

location is great both at 5 minutes walk from Ca d’Oro station on the grand canal and 5 minutes walk from Fondamente Nove in front of Murano and departure point to the airport by boat and the islands. a supermarket is open every day until 9 pm at 150 m (Coop). it is a peaceful area where Venezian people live (many children go to school at 8 am!). lots of restaurants around but not in the street of the apartment which makes it calm. apartment is functional, large enough for a family of 4. we were anxious about the remote check in but everything went well and it was easy.

I think in every rental apartment the people who design and outfit it need to stay there for 24 hours before beginning to rent it, this place exemplified this with MANY small but necessary things missing. There needs to be a place in the shower to put soap or shampoo. There was an oven, but no baking dishes (nothing to cook something IN the oven) and no hot hot pads to take something out of the oven. The stove top only let you use 2 burners at a time - though there were four (and then set a maximum for the 2nd burner, so one couldn't actually make two things hot simultaneously). This made it hard to cook a meal! There was no sponge for washing dishes, no dish soap, no kitchen towel. And though minor, the door to the fridge is on the wrong way, this takes 30 minutes to change, and saves a grunt of frustration about 20 times a day. Also, we are given the wrong code for key box, but someone was available to help us with this almost immediately.

The location was calm, which is saying something for Venice in August and close to public transit. Really great. The air conditioning saved us. We thought we'd use the porch more than we did, it was too hot out, but it was super nice to have the option. The shower was grand.

Very good location, 3 min walk from Vaporetto stop CaD Oro Rialto bridge was just 5 min far by feet and you will very nice cafe & places to eat around. The area is very alive but not extremely busy. The house was very big, it had lots of space and it was clean, ideal for families or a group of 4.

Apartment was fabulous! Kitchen was big and bedroom was perfect size. The whole apartment was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was very nice too! Paola was very helpful via Whatsapp and responded immediately in relation to queries we had. The air conditioning was a life saver. We went for dinner in the restaurants near by less than 5 min walk from the apartment. We arrived by water taxi and got off at Ft. Nove which was a quick walk to the apartment! Definitely would stay here again!

Stayed in Ca Dore 2. Really bad smell of damp in bathroom. Similar in master bedroom but not as bad. Cleaners had left window open in bathroom to relieve the smell but mosquitos had come into the apartment as a result and we got bitten. Broken shower door in the corner and a temporary shower curtain in its place, looked like it had been there a long time. Floor and bed sloped in master bedroom. Some kind of tea-towel in the kitchen would have been useful for drying dishes. No kettle so we boiled water in a pot for tea/coffee. Overall, disappointed with the apartment and not very good value for money, although that would not be unusual for Venice.

Location was good, on a quiet street not far from Strada Nuova. Access instructions were very clear and well communicated by the owner. Bottled water in fridge was a nice touch.

The apartment was clean and very comfortable. They have almost everything we needed in the apartment. It was easy to check in with the keybox with code. You can arrive anytime in the day. The apartment was close to everything around ( supermarket, restaurant, bus ferry, shops). Will stay there again if I'm coming back to Venice.
