Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The kettle needed to be replaced or cleaned really well but other than that it was very good.

A free car park would be a plus. But as we arrived on Sunday the parkings around the hotel were free of charge.
Location was perfect to visit the City. Great room, huge bed, perfectly clean. Staff was really friendly.

We arrived before check in time and stuff was helpful to keep our baggage in the storage room. We left to Venice to walk around and stuff didn’t provide to us QR codes allowing to enter the city without paying extra city tax once you arriving to Venice city. Only when we were back we asked about this. Another issue was when we wanted to have a tea and boiled the water - apparently some of previous guests were boiling something inside the kettle and it got burned so we had a very strong smell afterwards. But stuff here was helpful and quickly changed this kettle.
In general rooms are clean. We didn’t have big issues during our stay.

The shower head in our bathroom could use a replacement. I didn’t like the way they handled a certain situation. We had booked a room with breakfast but when we got there they told us that in their system our room didn’t have breakfast. And nobody tried to solve the problem.
Good location for us, very close to the train station. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Only one very small minus for the corridor outside of our room. It was very dirty (with parts of a balloon lying around etc). Luckily the room itself was clean.
Great location close to the train station. Very nice and helpful staff. Quite comfortable beds as well.

No air-conditioning which was fine for April but the room would get very hot in summer I imagine
Close to train station, easy to get to the island of venice. Good variety of restaurants nearby

Nothing.
Basically the top floor of a student hostel is working as a hotel. Not a common solution, but it's completely fine. If you don't mind seeing uni students around the lobby, it's actually a simple but fine hotel with anything you need for visiting Venezia. Train station is a few minutes of walking, bus stop is just behind the building, restaurants and supermarket is nearby. Breakfast is simple but functional to start your day. Value for the price was just great.

It's not possible to pay anything with cash. Including the tax which was something around 7 euro. Must be paid by credit card.
Great staff. Also the facilities were always clean.

Breakfast is poor, there is a lot to improve.
Very new, spacious room and excellent location. Reception staff were great at helping with all kind of question- train tickets, bus, food reccomendations and etc.

The room is spacious and well stocked with personal care items. Good location and friendly reception. The Focaccia Bakery across the street on the right front corner serves good food.

Everything. The staff was very polite, helpful and understanding. The room and the hotel was clean, cleaning ladies use to come around 9am IT time to clean. In the lobby you can stay, take breakfast (from the hotel) or even eat your own food in a separate hall reversed with tables and chairs. + there’s a kitchen where you can cook or even a room with washing machines. There’s also a small but very dotated gym. We could train glutes, shoulders and arms very well with the machines inside (+ cardio) There’s also a play space (with an 8ball table and a tableSoccer). The position of the location is perfect. You have around 3-4 min walk the train station, trafic point to buy tickets for the bus which is taking you directly to Venice (around 30 min with the bus directly) and also another bus station to go to Lidl (around 20 min) and orher stores/places. Also a big supermarket is around 6 min walking from the hotel. All the facilities. I recommend!

The room was so stuffy. The air conditioner was so poor. So I opened the little gap of a window that you can open and all I could hear was the motorway traffic. I had a really bad sleep and it really upset me. And there was a constant noise coming from the ceiling. It was a humming noise. It was so bad that I had to put rain sound music on so I could sleep.

The breakfast was horrible. They are using small paper plates and paper/plastic cups for the coffee, tea and Juice. The cutlery was dirty at breakfast. Also is the student house not a hotel this is not mentioned on booking And when you came a little bit later like at 9 for breakfast usually there was not so much to eat ham or cheese.
The location next to the station to Venice It was clean
