Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo real complaints! Room was a bit small but we were only there for one night, and for the price and location still an excellent deal.
Location was great - near the airport and a few blocks from the train stop. The rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. The folks at the reception desk were very helpful and let us keep our car in the reserved parking for a bit beyond our checkout so we could venture into Venice for a bit before leaving the area. The rooms had AC which was a relief because it was quite warm in Venice even in May. Overall a great value for the price. If you want to park a car make sure to let them know ahead of time. Parking cost 8 Euro which seemed pretty typical/reasonable for the area.

We stayed for one night, breakfast was very good. Location is good as well, 5 min walk from tram stop T1 that goes straight to Venice 2-3 stops away. Hotel has its own parking at a cost of 8eur per night.

We really enjoyed the variety of food in the breakfast (beside the typical italian sweet breakfast there were eggs, ham, cheese and tomatoes) The room was kept clean ( towels changed every day) The location was really good with the tram being nearby and also a local restaurant and supermarket. We also enjoyed the staff (thank you Alex for the travel tips :D )

United States of AmericaHotel only gave one key for a double room which was inconvenient for a party of two. When I asked about an iron I was directed to the laundry service in Mestre center; come on, how much does it cost to buy an iron for your guests use?
Location is convenient for the tram to Venice and Mestre center and there's a supermarket at the corner.

UkraineWe found only one socket for charging our devices but in general it wasn't a big issue.
Perfect! Very convenient location, cosy place. 2 min walk to the tram station, the tram goes directly to Venice. Couple of small local restaurants with very tasty food just around the corner. Everything we need was in place. Clean renovated bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff. Good price for this quality and location.

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike
Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The hotel has private parking that you must request when booking the room. The location is very convenient, with two tram stops just up the road to go into Venice proper (buy the tickets at the Bar Tabacchi just near the stop). It is also a short 20 minute drive to the airport. Very clean, warm, quiet and vintage hotel. I would book again.

RomaniaThe room we stayed in was recently renovated and we really apreciated this, but it had an akward smell. Also, the bathroom should be thoroughly cleaned, as it still had some renovation traces on the walls and behind the radiator. But these were minor issues that we told the staff about, so probably they fixed them after we checked out.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, the location for us was perfect, so we would gladly come back anytime!

Bosnia and HerzegovinaIt is not a fault of the hotel, but those who want more peace should look for rooms on the first floor of the hotel. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit noisier in the morning, although it didn't bother us.
It's the second time I've stayed at the hotel, which means it's acceptable to me. The staff is very pleasant and ready to help. Breakfast very good. Parking within the facility. Near the tram station that takes you to Venice, as well as a tobacco shop where you can buy tickets for the tram.

United KingdomWe would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room and the AC was a little bit of an issue. The room was really warm so turned it to cool but it dripped and splashed on the wooden headboard onto the pillow so had to switch it off. Nothing major though. It wouldn’t stop us staying again.
The property was in an ideal location to make it a reasonably priced option for visiting Venice. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. It was really close to a stop for the T1 transport to Venice. I would definitely recommend.

SlovakiaI would welcome a change of towels automatically at least after 2 days of using. We stayed 5 nights but the towels keept unchanged. Probably we should ask for it on reception, but we always returned to hotel late, or we forgot to ask.
Nice small and quite comfortable hotel, very good accesibility to Venezia, directly by tram. The hotel has plentiful breakfast. Both receptionists were very nice and they provided a lot of practical info about Venice, transportation in Venice and etc.
