Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe beds were uncomfortable and not enough sockets for phone charging. No kettle. Walls very thin! Consequently sleeping well unlikely but the pros of this hotel outweighed the cons.
Staff were exceptional. Friendly, informative and helpful. The location is on the tram line directly into Venice. Inexpensive €3 return (note the journey does take 35mins).

United KingdomNone, the hotel was excellent for my intended purpose of visiting Venice.
Excellent breakfast and with easy public transport access to Venice. This enabled me to spend a full day in Venice. Also there are good caffès and restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly, communicative and helpful.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very poor. The windows on the second building (the annex one) are very bad. Can’t be closed properly and the sound from outside is pretty annoying.
Was clean, the room had a good space size and the staff was very helpful.

United States of AmericaWe stayed in this hotel for its proximity to Marco Polo airport to facilitate getting there for a very early morning flight. Hotel was very helpful in arranging airport transfer. Room was comfortable and met our needs. Hotel has a bar and restaurant. We did get drinks in the bar area -- pleasant place to relax outside our room. There was a nice local restaurant about 5 minutes away where we had dinner.

BrazilThe attitude of one employee. Our car was in the hotel parking, our clothes was in the room and one night was already paid and we decided to stay another night so we were told by another employee to pay everything when we check out. But there were another employee calling nonstop ordering me to pay my extended stay in one hour when we out in Venice. Very inconvenient. The breakfast was mediocre. The eggs tasted funny and the coffee from machine was horrible. The dinner was expensive compared to what they offered. In the next day we went to Movie pizzeria wich had AMAZING food with a fair price. The hotel profit 100% from tram tickets and don't tell you that there's is a very easy way to but them by using WhatsApp at the tram stop. You just need to scan the QR code available at the tram stop and add your information to pay.
The rooms were comfortable and clean.

CroatiaRoom wasn't really clean. First thing first, we have come early to the hotel, before the regular checkup. They managed to clean the room earlier for us, so this is something to remember. However, when guy from the reception called the cleaning staff, they told that the room was clean. We found a long hair in the bathroom in the toilet, which proves that the toilet wasn't clean at all. Also, in the room itself, there are some stuff that need to be fixed. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't that bad, but yes, the room wasn't cleaned properly.
Location is really good. There is 2-3 minutes walk to nearby train station. Line T1 will bring you straight to Venice. The ticket costs €3 for both directions and it can be bought in the hotel on the reception. Breakfast was really good as well!

PolandMissing glasses in the room and no kettle to have a tea which was super odd as this hotel says it a 4-star hotel. The hairdryer is weak so better to pack your own. Also, only 3 electrical sockets in the whole room. One in the bathroom which is not in European standard.
The hotel is fine for a one or two-night stay when traveling around. Really close to the bus or tram stop which is a huge advantage. Free parking space. A super nice and kind receptionist explained everything to us and gave us advice on how to move around and get to Venice Island.

SloveniaFor what its worth it is a good option for travelling to Venice. It is, indeed, a little far away - probably 40 minutes all in all to get to Roma square by tram.
Very good restaurant, efficient delivery and very nice food. Personnel is very attentive and hospitable; rooms are okay but do not set very high expectations.
