There was nothing about this property to dislike. If there was one downside; we wished, we had stayed for three nights instead of just the one night.

This was the most outstanding property we stayed at while in Japan for 3 weeks. It was authentic, the beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will return again and stay longer.

Very friendly hosts, personally delivered our luggage to the home from Yamato transport which we were grateful for. The home was very spacious and very comfortable, it was a pleasure to come back to this cosy home at the end of each day

It was a little cold we had to crank the heaters.

A beautiful little house with loads of space and really well set up. The futons were really comfy with electric blankets and the little treats and coffee bags were a nice touch.

I grew up in a house in Yokohama in the early sixties and this house was much like the one I grew up in. It brought back so many wonderful memories. The only issue is unless you speak a little Japanese it's a bit hard to use the check in telephone to check in. But if you're a little bit tech savvy with Google Translate, it's no issue at all.

The home was very spacious, nicely decorated, and we felt so welcomed with the personalized note and snacks that were provided. The location was also great. It made our visit to Naoshima that much more delightful and special!

This was a great find. After a stint sharing of small hotels with the family it was nice to stretch out and have some space in this cute home. Located in easy walk from the ferry and very close to the best stocked convenience store I have seen in Japan. Most of the art is about 25mins walk away but its very pleasant to walk and there are many buses too.

We got to stay in a traditional house with just the right places to relax, one could watch a movie at the shed or have coffee at the tea spot, or just relax on the porch!! Location? The best also! Close to restaurants, convenience store literally just around the corner, close to the port. THIS IS THE HOUSE! Thanks to personnel that had everything ready for us!

it was a beautiful, traditional and historic stay. the whole experience was seamless - we got off the ferry, we went to the store that rents bikes that is affiliated with this house, we left our luggage and rode around the island for the day and when we were ready, we went to the house and our luggage was waiting for us and the next day the process was repeated in reverse.

The property was great. The only thing we didn’t like about our visit was the attitude of workers at the ferry terminal ticket and information center. Everyone else in town was friendly, but at the ferry center they were rude.
