Room was relativly big for japanese hotels. Ozean view was great, we had a room on 10 the floor. Everything was clean and they had all the small things you exspect like toothbrush, pajamas, coffee/tea set. We just stayed for one night so it was very convient that the hotel is directly in fromt of Takamatsu station and the ferry pier.

My friend's non smoking room smelled of smoke on arrival. The staff did an air exchange clean which sorted it out.

It was exactly what I expected it to be.

Location was excellent, close to train station, ferry station, restaurants, the local castle, easy access to sites. Simple but comfortable facilities, altogether a good stay

Would have preferred a kettle instead of the rice making machine for the hot water, which seemed overly complicated.

So close to the train, ferry and bus stations! Amazing views from our bedroom. Breakfast was OK with good coffee machines and take out cups available to use.

Location. Within minutes’ walk to jr station, kotoden station and port to outlying islands. Room. Open sea view/park view user friendly a/c control Breakfast. Not quite worth it’s price, in terms of quality and variety There was an episode where we booked into a sea view room but was assigned a room with street view. Talked to reception and quickly resolved with room change.

I think for the price of the hotel, you should not charge for a bottle of water. maybe that is the custom in Japan, not in the US, so I was surprised. it seems like you are nickel & diming people for a small item.

Superb location right on the impressive plaza in front of Takamatsu station. And buses there too. Superb view of old castle ruins nearby and sea + city view. Very comfortable room for two, complete with pair of chairs and small table.

Could be modernized as it lacks some power sockets and you hear your upstairs neighbours.

Very good high class hotel. They even give me a room to see the seto inland sea as I requested, thank you very much!

The room's shower had different settings, but none of them were particularly powerful.

Hotel is just a hop, skip and a jump from the train station, and there are great sunrise views, and over the old castle grounds, from a higher room on its east side. Room is sizable and spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. Check-in and check-out by friendly English-speaking staff is efficient. Not that we needed it, but check-out was up to midday, which is generous by local standards.

Staff did not speak English. Breakfast not included and was quite expensive (I did not book it in the end). Room and whole hotel a bit outdated.

Perfect location, directly at bus station from/to airport as well as port. Perfect base to explore the islands and temples nearby. Great view from windows. Fairly quiet.
