Love the space! It was so cute. I had a private bathroom + toilet, and double bed, in a tatami room (so take off your shoes). The cute owner gave me a yukata to wear for the night, as well as tea. No complaints, and the owner was warm and nice. There are 2 ports in Naoshima, and this place is near Honmura port, where a lot of restaurants are, so you won’t have trouble finding dinner. Naoshima overall was a wonderful experience, and my stay here made it even better! Would love to come back again❤️🙏

It was dated, but everything was clean so there was no issue!

Good location near the art houses / Honmura ferry port. Clean and quiet, no frills guest house. I was in a single room with a double bed, but it was great for one person. There are bicycles available to use during your stay. However, I already rented an e-bike (which was perfect for those hills and avoiding the bus service!)

I expected it to be old and it was but it was okay I was only going to sleep. Weak WiFi was a bit annoying but didn’t use too much of it.

Nice location easy to check in and had my own room/block of house. Small but a bath was good too.

Really helpful staff who picked us up from the ferry and dropped us back. Fabulous large tatami room with fridge and electric blankets. Also had bikes we could borrow to get around the island.

I am very grateful that after my checking in, I need to meet my friends at Lee Ufan Museum. I went to ask the owner about the direction. At the end he took me to the museum. I was really overwhelmed by his hospitality.

So close to the bus stop near the Naoshima City Hall and across the road from Naoshima Hall. Honmura was definitely the place for me to stay on Naoshima. A delightful walk to Tsutsuji-So along the water and then a bus up to Chichu Museum

The bath and toilet are located in another part of the building but it seems the other two rooms have a bathroom inside, which is more comfortable.

Although we arrived before noon we could check in right away. The bedroom is quite large and there is another little room attached to it. There were enough free bikes available (standard type, a bit heavy; not electric, which might be more difficult to drive for those less experienced with a bike). Good location: three minutes away from the bus stop and with quite a few restaurants around (note that most are closed when the museum is closed).

Futon bed was a bit too firm which affected my sleep but depends on your preference. Also lots of mosquitos and other little insects (a normal part of this island) so make sure windows/doors are always closed - even between rooms.

Perfect view of the ocean from the private deck, lovely guesthouse with great amenities, super friendly host (although she spoke limited English but we managed). Staying here really enhanced our relaxing time in Yakushima Island.

The room was cozy and very clean with private bathroom. Reasonable price. The most important thing is that the owner was so kind and nice. Although his English speaking was not so fluent, we can still communicate via Google translate. I was thankful for his driving me to the port to take ferry after I checked out.

Nothig really. It is basic and clean accommodation.

The locationis good as it's right near all the Art House Projects. There is a bus between Miyanoura Port and the Benesse Art area. There are bikes to borrow at the guest house but if I visited again I would hire an electric bike to get around. It's also walking distance from a little supermarket.
