The accommodation is extremely comfortable and equipped with all the necessities. You'll find an umbrella handy for rainy days in Naoshima, a telephone available for your use, high-quality tea, cutlery, and dishes, a comfortable bathroom, complimentary dental care, and bath amenities. The door is fitted with an easy-to-use lock system, eliminating the need to carry keys during your walks, among other conveniences—all at your disposal! The accommodation is not close to the Naoshima bus terminal(about 20min walk); however, convenient buses traverse the entire island, making it easily accessible. Our host, Jhonny, was exceptionally kind and warmly welcomed us. He adeptly led conversations and readily assisted us in every way possible. Jhonny offered invaluable advice on places to visit, provided ferry timetable information, and even volunteered to pick us up from the Naoshima bus terminal. He also made a restaurant reservation for us upon our arrival. Truly an outstanding individual!

Great house for a stay in Naoshima close to Honmura port and next to a local bus stop. The host met us at the house and helped us to book dinner that night. The door lock felt very secure. The house was very spacious and clean with a kitchenette, living area, comfortable beds, air-conditioning and a clean bathroom.

The house was very clean, well equipped and well located on the most interesting side of the island. The house has a kitchenette and a nice bathroom. The owner offered to pick us up from the port and drive us to the house. That was really much appreciated. We arrived on a Sunday and a reservation had made done for my family at a very nice restaurant nearby. Again that was really appreciated and kind of the owner to think about doing that for us. There is a bus stop right at the corner of the street to go to the port or around the south part of the island. We really enjoyed our stay at One Rest.

The house and facilities are fantastic! Clean, convenient location and our host was very accommodating, generous with his time and gave us great recommendations and directions on how to get around. He told us how things work on island too, which was helpful information. It was all very much appreciated. My daughter and I will definitely recommend ‘One Rest House Private House’ to our friends and family. Thank you again for having us and making us feel so welcome at One Rest and on the island!

the tatami mats on the first night were very hard compared to the other places we stayed - definitely ask to double up. They delivered extra bedding for our 2nd and 3rd nights which was a game changer.

Lovely host who helped us with a car reservation for Teshima and info about which restaurants were actually open the days we were there. The house is right by the bus stop to the main ferry and 5 min walk to the other ferry port. A couple of good spots to eat nearby and the Art Houses. Naoshima is hard to get to and can be a bit frustrating to organise stuff when you are there so every little helps.

Loved the decor and art pieces in the property it was very nice style. The host was so helpful with information about the island and things to see and do - what a bonus! Just a block from the bus stop so we were able to travel around the island easily.

The property is very charming, well located and as everything you need for a short stay. lots of heating, which was fantastic as it was very cold on Naoshima while we were there (Feb) The host is helpful and speaks very good English

The host was extremely kind and helpful, giving us many tips on how to explore the city, and helping to book restaurants. The house was spacious and had all the amenities we needed (coffee, good wifi, nice shower). The location is walking distance to many restaurants and art houses. It was autumn and chilly outside, but the heater worked greatly and we had great nights of sleep.
