Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaWe loved the location, only a 10-15 minute walk from the port, and beautifully located by a beach. Both the tents and the sauna was excellent. Plus we really liked the breakfast.

SpainMaybe wifi can be better but only in the rooms where signal is poor. Nothing more to complain about.
The location, facilities, room, services, etc. Everything was perfect, more than we expected. And of course the staff was wonderful. They made it even better made us fell like home.

United States of AmericaCheck out was at 10am, a little on the early side. Either way, they were kind enough to hold my bags as I zipped around the museums in the morning.
Beautiful facilities, felt great to really escape and soak in the Naoshima views. The rooms were super clean and the location was convenient. After renting an e-bike at the port, access was super easy. Dinner was also delicious.

United States of AmericaWe had friends that recommended another property that was booked. We are so glad, because we found Sana Mane!! Our Glamp Dome had water front sunrise views a private dining bunker that was the best meal experience of our vacation, our host was so friendly and helped with everything from sauna, meals and transpo. An intimate property close to nature yet high in creature comforts. This is a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and very private. You will love it. And yes, there's a bathroom and heat in your dome-- it's better than a hotel room!

BrazilWe thought the breakfast and dinner were not worth the value. The quantity were very small and it wasn’t cheap. (My boyfriend is vegetarian and they were open to adapt the menu, but the cost was the same and in this case the perception of value is even worse.)
The experience was very nice. We loved Sazae (sauna) and our tent with ocean view., Staff was very cheerful, amenities and facilities were nice and the room was very clean.

SingaporeQuite tricky to get along the 10 min walk with wheeled bags in heat! Backpacks are better. 4 can sleep in one tent... but unless 2 are kids, book 2 tents!
Great tents, fire pit, little BBQ area (pre-book this) drinks and food can be ordered here too - menu in japanese

United States of AmericaNo heat in the dome tent. It got a bit chilly at night during mid October.
If you are still reading this and can afford to stay at this property, stop and book it immediately! The location is amazing: right on the beach of a little cove to the west of the port, an easy 1/2 mile walk. The large dome tent holds the beds, shower/toilet, a small round table and two beach recliner chairs. There is a very satisfactory AC unit (at least for early October). The beds are comfortable and face the clear portion of the dome towards the sea. Easily drawn curtains provided privacy and light blocking when needed. Meals are taken outside in a private, partially enclosed room next to the dome. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners and enjoyed the quality of the food as well as the excellent service. Kobe beef was included as a large part of both dinners, and it was a pleasure to grill it up ourselves on the BBQ grill that is part of the dining area. The staff are responsive, cheerful, and competent. They were delighted to help us change meal times around and sample a few extras available at mealtime. Staying at Sana Mane was one of the highlights of our trip!

United States of AmericaNot much to complain although would be perfect if… The black out curtains are improved. A small gap at the top of the blackout curtain prevented from getting a good night sleep. But forces you to wake up early and get outside to enjoy the perfect scenery by the beach. Wonderful sauna facility designed by a famous architect Kengo Kim’s. We had trouble sleeping with mosquitoes inside the yurt. And despite having a good working air conditioner, it gets too hot in the morning with blazing sunlight directly hitting the transparent ocean view window of the yurt. Maybe the forest view is better for folks who likes to sleep in a bit late to catch the museum opening time.
Great staff and owner! Very personal and caring in every aspects.

FranceYou had to pay extra to use the sauna, while our stay was already very expensive. that said the sauna is incredible, it was designed by an architect, just a shame you have to pay extra when you are staying at the hotel.
The tents with ocean view are exceptional, the bonfire at night was a really nice touch to meet with other people staying there. The breakfast & bbq for dinner were really nice too.
