A bit small toilet that needed some maintenance. The fridge worked but was missing the freezer door so water bottles were frozen. Not big problems though.

Room with the most amazing views. A bit dated room but in good condition. Great breakfast and the most amazing service, especially at the reception and shuttlebus driver. One of my favourite places in Japan.

Room is a bit small and rundown, bed is not very comfortable as the quilt sheet can not hold to the quilt. The room is a little cold even with air con on. I booked dinner for next day on checked in, when I wanted to cancel in the morning, the hotel told me I ll be charged for 100% for cancelation fee. In the end I still had dinner in the hotel but this threat of penalty fee seems unreasonable as we were not told by the time when we booked verbally. Hotel only gave one key for both of us, when we asked for 2nd key as we may not always be back to room together, they said if we lose one key, we will be charged for 30,000. I have never heard anything like this, as this is not youth hotel and we paid fair amount (most expensive in the island ) and expect something better.

With the beautiful sunset view the room get pretty hot quickly, and the air conditioning unit only have Japanese which took us quite sometime to get to the right setting to cool down the room. An English guide on how to operate the air conditioning unit will be very helpful.

We really appreciate how helpful the hotel manager and supporting staff helped us, especially, the shuttle bus driver - Mr. Yoneda San who can speak good English. We didn't book dinner at the hotel since there are quite a few local restaurants near by the hotel, but ran out of cash since we didn't expect the island's car rental company don't accept credit card. The entire staff all try to help us in many ways beyond our expectation. We end-up purchasing a very delicious seafood from a near by supermarket which accept credit card and have a wonderful dinner with the view of Angel Road in our spacious bedroom. The hotel even provide sandals for guest to walk out to the angel road during low tide!

The mattress in the room is to soft, and I don’t think it’s good for my back. There is a very limited number of staff who can speak another language other than Japanese.

The view from the window is perfect and definitely worthy. There are different types of facilities and even Joe I can see some facilities have been there for a while, the maintenance is good enough to make them look clean and new. There’s a pool near the beach and there are even places reserved for fireworks, especially in the summer. There is a mini game center which is perfect for family with kids.

the breakfast buffet area was very busy and seem understaffed. Though I appreciated the variety of breakfast options, there were not enough non-fish options. The Onsens were lovely but extremely hot. I wish they were a little cooler.

First issue is the strict time rules, 10am check out time is unacceptable for this type of property. 1 1/2 hour breakfast window is simply ridiculous. Beds were questionable, the thick duvet was nice but would always slide off the sheet. We also got rooms ending with 13, which actually made us feel uncomfortable. Public bath did not have towels - need to bring them from your own room. Needs major management changes if they want us as returning customers.

Location right in front of Angel Road gave us exclusive access to the picturesque spot. Gift shop on site was very well stocked. Public bath was very well maintained, good bathroom amenities. Also nice picture spots in the property. Staff spoke excellent English. Shuttle service very good.

I didn't like that when checking out I had to pay 56,000 instead of the 40,000 I booked on booking and paid with my credit card🤔

Everything was wonderful, we were received with the smile of the receptionists, we received several amenities, dinner was included, everyone was kind and friendly, always with a beautiful smile. Dinner was wonderful, had several courses ending with a delicious dessert. We very happy feelings. The room is superb, had views from all corners of the room. It was very clean, very big, comfortable and with a wonderful view of road angel. We stayed almost all night in the room's thermal bath. I was celebrating my birthday, it was amazing. Breakfast is excellent and very varied. We had a problem because I booked a room with a discount because of the travel incentive, the room cost 40,000 but I didn't know that I needed to bring proof of vaccinations and because of that I had to pay 56,000 for the room, it was sad but there was no way. So if you get a discount beware of the rules.

The Booking pictures don't depict the reality. The place is way older than it looks on the pictures. Everything on the bathroom was yellowish from age, and the furniture was quite old too. I paid extra for a room with views to angel road and I felt tricked, because I could only see it from a tight angle, not straight from the window pane. The faucet on the shower might very well date back to the 70's and regulating water temperature required finesse and patience. Also, there was no gel or shampoo on the bathroom (how is that possible on an hotel charging over 20.000 yen per night?!) We only got one key attached to a big and clunky piece of good. We requested a second key and they told us it was not possible, so we had to align schedules when going anywhere. There was no light switch near the bed, and the bed linings were very old. Also the curtains didn't block light at all on the early morning.

-Good location, right in front to angel road and next to a car rental station. -Good and clean onsen. -Room of adequate size (except the bathroom). -Bus shuttle to the port (requires reservation. I could not use it because I didn't know).
