There was no air circulation in the bed capsule and when I slept with the curtain closed it did get a bit too warm and stuffy for me. So I always had to leave it open for a bit.

There is no lift to the reception at the main entrance. Need to take the service lift at the back.

About 15mins walk from Takamatsu station and port even walking fast. Not bad, just be prepared. There is a bus stop nearby though.

Comfortable bed. Clean and convenient room. Good coffee (capsule coffee machine in the room). Easy access to convenient stores and shopping streets with restaurants. Walking distance from Takamatsu station and port. Walking distance from Ritsurin Park.

I was like a wasp in a pretty empty cell in a wasp's nest. THere is no communal area except the kitchen. If you are a smoker you might make friends because there is a smoking room off the kitchen. Also I only had accesss to floor 10 so I can only speculate about what is on the other floors. It gets a bit annoying having to use your card all the time to get trhough doors.

This place is very clean and very convienient. It is a kind of hybrid between a hotel and a hostel. I stayed in a capsule bed in floor 10 a mixed dorm but that is pretty irrelevant because I did not really see anyone. Showers are perfect, toilets perfect - everything you could want for living a comfortable solitary existence. However, the atmosphere is clinical as commensurate with the environment. It has sacrificed something for efficiency and that something is interaction with strangers. Everyone is in their own capsule cell and after a while it seems inconceivable that you could start a conversation with anyone.

No lift from the ground floor for easy access. Got to take an elevator to the lobby floor. Tricky if have big luggage.

Lockers, check! secure baggage storage, check! clean sleeping space, check! Almost perfectly clean. Like a capsule hotel with the bonus of bountiful common space downstairs, and kitchen facilities close yet separated from the sleeping space. Nice and quiet! (except for some snoring of course...)

My laundry was not really dry after the drying of the washing machine and there was not realy room to put it.

The people were very friendly and the location was great to. It is close to a shopping street and multiple Conbinis are close by. I additionally liked the free availability of Mangas!

The smoking room is through the kitchen, and despite the good ventilation system you could smell the smoke every time that door is opened while you're eating in the kitchen. Also, besides not being able to get in through the double door without the card, you also cannot get out - it makes you not forget the card, but it's also a bit annoying when your hands are full of toiletries.

Not too far from the station. Every bed has 2 hangers and is equipped storage area. There is a double door to get to the kitchen, vending machine and washing machine + drier, which reduces the noise from outside. The fridge was equipped with pen+paper+tape in case you need to leave your food or drinks. The staff was very kind when asked for information about the area around.

This is a pretty good get for the price you're paying. The bed is comfartable, the shower felt clean and with a good pressure. The Hotel isn't too far from the station, about a 20 min walk.

There were some guests who were a little bit loud even late at night, but even so, that isn’t the hotel’s fault. Also, the steps for the upper pods are in front of the entrance for the lower pods, so if you’re in a lower pod you should mind your head as you exit.

Good location: a little far from Takamatsu Station & the port area, but you can hop a bus easily. As well, the place is right next to some shopping & dining arcades, which meant I could explore the hubbub of Saturday night social events. Bed areas were comfortable & large enough even for tall people, with an adjustable light inside. The common area had a fridge, microwave & hangout spaces for small groups to gather too. Free manga collection on each floor! It’s all in Japanese so foreign tourists might not be able to use it, but it’s still a unique touch and you can still enjoy it if you’re a manga fan. Coin laundry was really helpful for backpackers like me who have to carry their used clothes with them, and the staff were very helpful!

Kitchen on the dorm floor did not have a toaster oven, but weirdly had a full range, hot water kettle, ice machine, and microwave. Also would have enjoyed a purified water dispenser alongside the ice. Capsules were stuffy as there was no airflow with the heavy curtain pulled. Biggest issue was that 2 nights of my 4 night stay the dorm was mostly full with younger teens and seemingly no adult supervision. I am not blaming the teens for acting like all kids on overnighters ... messy, boisterous at all hours etc. Rather I question if a mixed dorm stay was an appropriate venue considering how disruptive they were to other guests. I was honestly surprised as I assumed that the dorm was an adults-only space.

Perfect location, extremely comfortable beds and good light blocking inside the capsules, lobby bicycle parking, and many options to lock / store / secure belongings. Big shared refrigerator and the view from the dorm lounge was impeccable.

The other guests were a bit noisy but this isn’t the properties fault. They could arrange people in non adjacent beds though, we were bunched up when there was plenty of room elsewhere.

Friendly staff, they speak English well. Very good value for money, very good location. Plenty of time to check in and out.

The luggage storage was very basic (a bike lock for your bag) and the laundry facilities took hours to dry my small wash.

Hostel with all the trappings of a hotel! Really nice facilities, very modern, and a huge great communal space next to reception. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is really tiny. A tall person can barely fit in either the shower or the toilet. Furthermore, you risk hitting the metal toilet paper roll holder just by entering (luckily we did not get cut).
