The door locks - old school / style key. Given only 1 key for the room, with 2 people staying there. Very difficult to deal with. Inaccessible to handicapped. (There was a man at the hotel without a leg, in a wheelchair. He struggled with the elevator and opening the non-automated doors in the hotel. Poor handicapped accessibility) Room service was a mystery.... Some days the room service replaced towels and took out garbage and made the beds. Some days they only replaced towels and wouldn't do anything else. Some days they only made 1 of the beds and left the other untouched. Some days they made both beds or didn't touch the beds at all. Some days they left the garbage and didn't take it / replace the bags. Had a full garbage bin for 3 days in the end... Very dimly lit dining / changing room / space Very dimly / poorly lit bathroom. No outlet in the changing area / dining area. Shelves, storage, kettle, but no outlet there. No outlet near the table. Had to place kettle on the floor to boil it. Exposed wires in the room 37 on the right hand side past the bed.... Bathroom floor always got very wet as the shower wasn't sealed. No shower curtain. Wet and sllippery. Entry into the shower was very narrow and uncomfortable.

Room was really out dated/used. Needs a lot of fixing up and cleaning. Breakfast buffet is toast ham/cheese/fruit and cereal. Payed the room in advance. On arrival asked if I could go to my room to use the toilet in all privacy (after a bit of a drive) before getting the €100,- cash for the deposit (If you see the room don't know what the deposit is for and they don't even check the room when you leave) Did not want to use the restroom near the restaurant if you understand what I mean. Said I would leave my luggage and phone wallet and car keys and come back downstairs directly. But that grumpy old blond fart wasn't having it. Great service. No light above the shower. Shower stand was broken. Cigarettes butts on the balcony. Worn down cabinets etc. For more pics see my google review.

Rooms were nice but there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, or hairdryers. Just some of the basic hotel facilities were missing. We knew it was above a nightclub and that it would be noisy, but it was a lot nosier than expected. The whole square where the hotel is located is full of restaurants and bars and our room was looking out on the square, It's a nice place for a few drinks in the evening but definitely loud when you're trying to sleep. Definitely bring earphones or earplugs if staying here.

Breakfast was great. Rooms were nice and bed was comfy. Staff were friendly. The food served in the restaurant was really good, I'd recommend the Bavette steak and the cocktails were very good too especially the Paloma cocktail. The hotel is 20 minutes from Amsterdam on a train and the hotel was around the corner from the train station, which was convenient. The train does cost 6euro each way though.

The bed was not comfortable at all. We had to ask for a cover for one of the pillows since it was smelly. I contacted the hotel owner in the booking app, but I never got a response, because we wanted to have a table with two seats, instead a small table with one chair.

I like the staff, good attention and vibes, if you like people smiling that is super good. From the janitor to the manager, the same good attention and service attitude, we really appreciate that 💕 Location is beautiful and nice walking areas, and local stuff that makes you feel something else of Amsterdam.. finally a local flavor Also the hotel has disco bar, good if you like to night out

Good hotel for the price, but the rooms situated on the street side are very noisy because of the bars next to it. It is difficult to sleep with so many people shouting outside late at night.

The rooms are above a club, so from 20:00 to 03:00 there was like was a rave in the backroom. Great if you are there to party in the weekends, not so great when you are there to do a triathlon

Poor staffing and unprofessional. I had to wait for more than 15 minutes before I could be attended to. The ground floor is a bar and doesn't look like hotel. The hotel could use some upgrading. The door handle reminds me of the handle of my home's storage unit. The headboard of the bed was thick with dust. It seems it has not been cleaned for ages. The bedside drawers was also not clean.

-NO SOAP in a toilet -NO Hair Dryer or Shampoo -NO Tissues -NO Plates and cutlery -NO Fan or Air-conditioner This hotel is a night club on the weekends. When we arrived, they started party until 4 Am in the morning, and with a loud music, was impossible to sleep. We thought we can sleep after that but No!!! All people that were inside, went outside and started talking and smoking and laughing until 7 Am. Also when we arrived I asked the manager for a soap and he said in one hour he would bring some but nothing happened! A day after I asked them again and they said they will put it in our room and when we backed at night, still nothing!!! I went downstairs and told the same guy again for a third time! He said ok! No apology or anything!!! I asked him how this hotel has nothing! He said it is in our website, we are just offering beds!!! Additionally the breakfast options are so limited aa I attached in a photo but what concerning is that they don’t care about food health and safety and cross contamination. There is mo tongue to take a bread or…. So everyone just touching everything with hands!!! Milk and juice or ham are not keeping in a right temperature and they just left in a room temperature for 3 hours or more and then bring use for a next day!!!

-The location is just 5 min to train station and then 20 min with train to Amsterdam. -The girl named Noa was very friendly and helpful as she always had some suggestions when we met her in the mornings. - The hotel’s cleaner, doing a really good job about cleaning the bedroom.

We couldn't get an extra pillow, the room was adequate there was a crack in the hand basin,tea facilities weren't replaced there was empty packaging in the container. The room wasn't fully cleaned bin wasn't emptied when we entered.

The location is excellent, staff were very nice and helpful.

1. Terrible bed. 2. Rude female staff on the morning of 7th June 2023. I think she was the lead running the shift. Ordered food and drink. The service was slow. Ordered apple bandit (drink) after the meal,staff attended to other patrons except me. Got up to pay after exactly 25 mins waiting and this female staff was going to charge me for the drink I never got served. I complained that I wasn’t served and she just said “ok I won’t charge you for it”. No apologies, nothing.
