The shower, the little glass wall to stop the water splashing out onto the floor is useless, my bathroom was absolutely cover in water after every shower, also very dangerous as you could easily slip on the wet tiled floor and seriously hurt yourself. Tv was also broken in my room.

In a good location for exploring Almere. We were there primarily to visit the Floriade and the Leonardo was ideally located just a few minutes walk from the ferry boat pier. The BierFabriek bar and restaurant on the ground floor was enjoyable.

The mini fridge appeared to be broken. This did not take away from the overall experience. Not much negative to say to be honest.

Over the weekend my boyfriend and I were staying in this hotel. It was a lovely weekend away and just fitted the bill for us completely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room surpassed exceptions especially given the fact we only paid for €300.00 room the whole weekend. It was in a wonderfully convenient location next to lots of shops and restaurants but also it somehow managed to stay quite at night which was a blessing. The food was exceptional and well worth the price. Very good experience overall.

The Booking.com reservation was not in the hotel's system. The very helpful hotel staff was very flexible and provided us with other rooms. The breakfast was very good, we liked the location of the Bierfabriek very much.

the pictures weren’t entirely accurate- no orange hammocks - which means the common area outside wasn’t as user friendly

The air condition was very in consisted providing cooler air during the day when we were not at the hotel and little during the night which made it very uncomfortable for us to sleep particular during the heat wave. We had some valuable items which we wanted to store in the safe unfortunately the safe was broken which we reported to a member of staff who told us that she would have a look at it, unfortunately we did not receive any feed back. The following day we reported it to another member of staff who had a look at the safe and concluded that an engineer was needed to repair it, but this could only be done after the weekend by which we would have returned home. She offered us to have our valuables to be stored at the reception safe, which we declined has we have no control who has access to the safe. A member of staff sprung a surprise on me and told me on the day of departure and 15 minutes before leaving, that I needed to pay my city taxes as I was not charged for it. I have stayed in a few booking.com hotels having never experienced anything like this, with all my transaction in the past going smoothly. I always believed that taxes and charges are included. It would be nice if they could sort this out on the day that you checked in. I was getting a bit suspicious and concerned thinking that they where trying scam me. Luckily this was not the case after I made a few phone calls and checks.

Hotel was close to all amenities ie shops, train station and transport to floriade. The majority of staff where friendly. Room was very clean, with good shower facilities and comfortable bed.

The days we spent in Almere were very hot and the air condition in the room did not cope.

The room had a very nice view. The location of the hotel is excellent at waterfront, close to the boat terminal to Floriade Expo and to the city center. Hotel staff is very friendly.

View is great. Lake is just in front of you. You have a good place to walk, either to the shopping malls or to the serene beach. We even extended our stay.

We liked the location and the facilities. Instead of staying in Amsterdam , you can stay here and take a train to Amsterdam or any other place as the train station is just a little walk away. Hotel itself was really neat and clean and the staff was good. There is an excellent bar just at the doorstep of hotel.
