Lovely spacious rooms with unique design and all the amenities that one might need. Staff were also quick to reply and accommodating. Short walk away from train station and historic town centre.

The room was discounted but we did not know they were having works on the façade. We had limited visibility to the outside and had workers exactly outside out windows for part of the day, dramatically impacting privacy, in particular in the bathroom as it does not have curtains.

Contactless check in so can only really ask questions via WhatsApp. Felt like the hotel came second to the restaurant. The downstairs toilet was closed when I arrived and I was told it would be cleaned/opened the next day for the restaurant, so I had to go up two flights of stairs to use the toilet in my room. Stairs are super steep and old so tricky for me with my luggage. I asked for help (for my safety and because dropping my bag would likely cause damage) and this did not go down well. It seemed like a massive inconvenience (when it took maybe 3 minutes) and the attitude really put me off. I wouldn't have asked for help if I hadn't needed it.

On the first day, I remembered the instructions on how to open the door, but my mistake was not informing my husband. When we arrived, he rang the doorbell, and a man opened the door in a rough manner, almost shouting, asking if we hadn't read the instructions, repeating it about three times. It was indeed an oversight on my part for not discussing it with my husband, but that's not the way to treat a guest, especially considering it was raining and we were carrying luggage, raincoats, and trying to look at our phones.

The only thing that could have been improved was that it was quite good to hear when someone in the room above us took a shower. Other than this nothing was against our liking.

Everything was arranged really well. For us it was especially great that we could just get into our room by the information received through WhatsApp.

The room did not have a separate bathroom. The shower was essentially in the bedroom, the sink directly next to the bed.

The room came with earplugs and those were definitely needed as there was some noise outside during the night.

The location is perfect for any citytrip with lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. And the online key makes acces very easy.

Great location and price with a very convenient key-less check-in, digital unlocking of front and room door! Provided you have a close look at the perfectly timed emails and WhApp messages, it’s a super system. Nightcap at the cozy well stocked bar was a nice bonus! Rooms are very nice, clean and a good size. Room 10, 2nd floor, is a beautiful one with an original wooden beamed ceiling! Loft-like, very nice!

Nothing to complain really. The main thing has been discussed already by other travelers which is the noise. I went on a Tuesday and there is a restaurant downstairs. Of course, you can hear a lot since it's an old building. But around 23h, everybody was already out and then I couldn't hear anything anymore. So I had no problems sleeping.

Super easy to check in, they make sure to give you all the details beforehand. They were nice enough to let me check in later since my train was delayed. I was positively surprised by the room. It was cozy, big, well decorated and it even had coffee/tea. The location is excellent, close to the main station and to the city center. I'd definitely go back!

The room was a bit cold when we arrived, as the heaters were switched off and we had to turn it on ourselves.

Bed very comfortable and nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Very nice view from the room window.
