You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe breakfast is served as picknick - a nice idea. We decided too late so there was no picknick for us but we were offered to go the Pancake house in Domburg to have breakfast. The place was a bit cold and honestly for 15 EUR you better go and have breakfast somewhere else. It was ok but a bit disappointing and the bread may have seen better times...
Location of hotel is perfect for us. Just a few steps to reach the sea. Also comfortably close to Domburg "Center"

BelgiumThere was a misunderstanding about the breakfast, we had ordered breakfast but they forgot. We still got breakfast which we appreciate. The breakfast could have a bit more variation.
Nice room, big enough. The location was wonderful, a few minutes walk to the (dog)beach and to the village. We'll stay there again!

GermanyI didn’t care that much about the paper-thin walls or the steep stairs but what really puzzled me was the hefty price tag: I’m sorry to say but the overall value for money ranks among the worst I’ve experienced in +20 years of travelling. The owners run four accommodations of different quality and this is obviously their budget alternative. I’ve stayed at other places in Domburg before, so I’m familiar with the local price range, and I’m fully aware that staying for New Year’s is more expensive but to charge almost 300€ for two nights in the small bronze room for a single guest is ridiculously overpriced.
I have mixed feelings about my stay. On the plus side this is a cute, dog-friendly place in a perfect location only a few steps behind the dyke with free parking right in front of it. The furniture, the self-service coffee machine, the shared fridge and the communal book swap shelf give it a charming hostel vibe. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast baskets delivered to the room are great! But…

GermanyBreakfast. Dirty utensils. Reynolds wrap plate. Unsealed water bottles. refillable condiment jars filled with milk, jelly, and sauce are not clean. Coffee machine nasty. Wrinkle towel spread over the bread basket. Lunch meat and pancake balls covered with aluminum foil. Wasted 40eur on breakfast I did not eat because of sanitary reasons. Parking.Terrible. Balcony dirty. The mattress moves completely off the bed. No 'Do not disturb' sign for the door. It appears the sheets and towels are not professionally cleaned.
The owner called to see if we are still coming. I assured him that we were not far away and do too many road closures is the reason we were behind time. Very nice welcome.
